Hey! That's my game. This game doesn't use MCCodes, GRPG or any engine. It was built from the ground up using Laravel in Summer 2017. It's been exclusively an android game until a few weeks ago when I released the web app in a public beta. The web app is still in very early stages. @Spydre452 Thank you for your words. Hello all! It's been a long time. Most of you probably wont know me as I didn't really post much but I was fairly active in the EzRPG scene back in the day. It's been a trip down memory lane reading some of my posts that I made 11 years ago. I was only 12 when I registered so it's been a good laugh. Anywho I think it's time to make an official introduction. I'm Michael and I'm based England. MWG ultimately ignited my passion for web development as a whole when I was 12 and it lead my down the path where I am today. I work as a full time web developer but I'm my spare time I work on my side project - SimpleMMO. Looking forward to the new community at MWG! Cheers

Thanks for clearing it up. Basically what I aim to to is sort of do a "forced" donation (obviously it wont be much) to the script then they can do whatever they want to it (share it for free or whatever) then I can sell add-ons that I have created myself for it.

So this means i can sell the script but the buyer then has the right to give it away for free or do whatever they want with it?

Ive just read the FAQ and it says: If I use a piece of software that has been obtained under the GNU GPL, am I allowed to modify the original code into a new program, then distribute and sell that new program commercially? You are allowed to sell copies of the modified program commercially, but only under the terms of the GNU GPL. Thus, for instance, you must make the source code available to the users of the program as described in the GPL, and they must be allowed to redistribute and modify it as described in the GPL. Surely that means i can sell it?

Basically if you have seen my other post, i have created a image script that can allow you to submit images to the website by using the EzRPG engine. Now I'm wondering if its possible to sell it as a script for say $10-$20 each. EzRPG has been released under GNU GPL v3 but I have no idea what that means. I'm no good with licenses but ill be sure to read up on some of them though sometime. I had a quick google and i've seen a few posts saying that i can sell the script if it is under the terms of GNU GPL. Can anybody confirm this? thanks

Just had a quick look on my harddrive and there nowhere to be seen :( . I have 2 places left to check, the host and my netbook. EDIT: Host is no more :( and i doubt it will be on my netbook .. ah well

I disagree, the best way to learn is to give yourself a challenge and EzRPG can provide that if you are a total novice. But it really depends on your learning style. For me, I tend to learn things faster by doing trial and error whereas some people learn faster from reading books and tutorials.

9/10 It's easy to learn and understand this engine but once you have, there is no limits on what you can do with it.   My site was one of the only sites active last year (http://unholy-kingdom.com) .. but my system went titsup and everything got deleted :( IIRC .. i might have a backup on my harddrive .. i'll be sure to check sometime this week. If i find it, ill release the entire game codes for free :)

I'm making a image website and i want to show the amount of views that image has on the page so i guess that wouldnt work...unless theres a way to show the views of each individual page
