Ok, so i was going through cleaning up this script, and i found something odd. I have worked with doinkinator, i won't say his work is the best as it's far from good, but the advertising skill's are good, and i've learnt from him where to get the member's. So that's another plus if you are wanting to goo partnership that way i can show you where to get member's for cheap price's, and by cheap we not talking $500+ we talking $300-. Since your using jquery. How come you have not come accross the $.delay() function yet? It's simple. $("#chatFeature").delay(3000).fadeIn(600); $("#imageBar").delay(3000).fadeOut(600); That way, after 3000ms as you wanted, they will both fade(out/in).

If i was to tell a person to learn how to code, i would not tell them to go learn the deprecated stuff!! So no, don't learn table's first, jump straight at it and learn div's, they are much easier once you get to know your CSS! Why work top downward's? When it's better working ground up?
