Yeah, i think the suit should just be thrown out. Journalism, press, etc. Reviews are pointless if we can only express the good qualities and get in trouble legally if we voice any bad thoughts about it.

Definitely an option for owners with the income.

I've purchased a few mods from cronwerks and im quite happy about the code i received. I made some adjustments and i assume any decent game owner will have need to have adjustments made to fit their game. If i recall this is a sale thread, not a bash the coder thread. Potential buyers do not need to be seeing this crap on any sale thread. This is part of the reason i would never offer any of our mods here just because some people really are disrespectful.

Unless im reading it wrong, theres a 550 Network fee (one time) and a minimum deposit of 100. That would be tight for new small games starting up.

I would imagine they could change over a few months, but that post was a year and a half ago (almost). Most sites change a lot in that time.

I like this. There are times i've struggled with npc names. Another one i've struggled with is city name or place name. I've googled generators for that too.

Its not cool to jump all over someone who is upset their site was hacked. Theres a lot of fixes here, and it takes time to put them all in. The point of the site is to help people, not be a jerk about it. Joker if theres something redex isnt able to help with feel free to pm me or post another thread. Just ignore the jerks that want to stir stuff up.

You should remove what he mentioned... clean the code up a bit.
-
You have to put that statement inside the while loop: Heres the example. That way it only credits the gang member one time for each mass mail. $q=$db->query("SELECT * FROM users WHERE gang={$ir['gang']}"); while($r=$db->fetch_row($q)) { //insert into mail statment. $db->query("UPDATE users SET new_mail=new_mail+1 WHERE userid={$r['userid']}"); print "Mass mail sent to {$r['username']}. "; }

If i recall a lot of free hosts dont offer cron jobs.
-
What is it that you are wanting it changed to? You would have to show us the section where it changes the energy used, or the exp lost.
-
Hmm. You both have the exact same post.
-
Not even a bit of credit as to where you found the mod already in use and pretty much copied the same look? *shrugs* For those that are curious the mod has already been in use on deadlyandalone.com (several months) and envythegame.com (added to it a few days before this thread). Next time danny, please at least do more than change a few words when copying a mod from a game that you "play".

Beautiful. You just saved me a bunch of time. Sending you 10$ now.
-
how do you make it so players cant level up quickly?
wolfe replied to Nicholas's topic in Game Support
$ir['exp_needed']=(int) (($ir['level']+1)*($ir['level']+1)*($ir['level']+1)*2.2); Looks like at level 10 a person would need 2928.2 to level. a level 20 would need 20374.2 and so on. Thats a pretty high amount of exp to achieve for a level 20, and it only gets worse. Are you giving out a ton of exp in your crimes and attacks? If so i would work on cutting them down. What kind of levels are they hitting in your game? -
You want to try your hand at a quests/missions system that uses the db to store quests, requirements?
-
If you are installing the basic code you will really need to go thru each file and make sure everything is secured. If you use the search feature there are a lot of helpful threads on here to help you do that.

smenu.php is part of the package you pay $$ for. Most people who bought the version are not going to just give it away. Sorry. If you search the forum there might be a modified version of it out there.

I really like the game box style. Some really cool avs to choose from.
-
Personally i think the navigation is good. Still takes a bit to get use to the mccodes forum setup. I like the look of the board. Im not fond of the domain name, however i can see the benefits of using it.
-
I like the look. Just takes getting use to. And nice choice on a dx av :D
-
Showing which version for your modification helps in keeping it organized, etc. Its a shame that change has to be blown off like that. This board shows promise.

Re: buying missions mod for [v2!] Yeah im looking for something like this as well.
