Almost every one of my mods is over 1,000 lines. I don't half-ass mods, the mod I am currently working on(the raffle mod) is about 200 right now, but I haven't even finished the first function yet, I'm going to guesstimate it will hit about 800-1,000 by the time it is complete. It's not as simple as you think, I have added my own quirks to it, and it is in no way going to be anything close to what you think it will be. I wouldn't sell some basic raffle script, I tend to go all-out with my mods. I do not care how much you are selling your mod for, or how much people want to pay for it, or how much you have made from it. Don't care, don't care, don't care. I just don't see it being worth 1/3 of the engine price. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this, most people just keep their mouths shut(most people dont even register to the forums to avoid the confrontation). I hope you sell all of your copies and get your $600 from it, it really would not alter my mood today, tomorrow, or the next, I simply do not care. I was stating my opinion about your code, since you so graciously offered your opinions about mine, even when you were in no way involved in this conversation. Had you not said anything, this whole confrontation would have been avoided. I'm done commenting about your mods, or my mods. I'm trying to talk to SlanderDesign about this referral system. LEAVE THE THREAD FOR F*CKS SAKE

Sorry but I don't think any mod(apart from seany's multiplayer poker) is worth 1/3 of the cost of the entire engine. My mods are clearly "worth a flip" otherwise hundreds of developers wouldn't be using them. Also, again, I provide support. I guess if I was charging 10x too much I would do the "live" support thing too. Are you done yet? Because I'm growing weary of this. The point of this thread is that this person wants an advanced referral system, I currently have a basic one that will take me about 10 minutes to upgrade to the specifications they asked for. Immortal go crawl back under your rock and stop trolling threads that have to do with me, thanks. =)

I'm not going to list all the emails of members telling me how they love my mods, especially for the ridiculously low price I offer them at with full support, nor the amount of income they have brought me. 9/10 times users just install incorrectly, get frustrated when I don't respond within an hour, and don't come back. My mods function perfectly, and when they don't, I fix them, simple as that. Also people like SlanderDesign have these opinions about me because of egotistical twits(like you) who spend all day on msn bashing me to others. I guess you don't really understand, because you are new in the mccode game. But after a while, there will be an entourage of people who love you and your work, and there will be a group who hates you, and spends all day bashing you and trolling your posts(you are in this group for me clearly). You learn to take the good with the bad, and I know my mods are worth what I charge, especially with full support. At least I'm not remaking an old mod and trying to sell for $100, am I right? My mods work, they are cheap, they come with full support. Case closed. If you have a problem with it, take it up with me, I answer all PMs. For someone who is "29" you sure still act like every average script kiddie I know.

Thousands? Really? Also I provide support for everyone. I don't believe its my fault when they simply don't use the support that is offered....

$4/month with an android phone? Dang. I wish I had that.. I pay... too much... haha
-
Perhaps you should speak to the hundreds of people who are happy with them then =) And all of my mods come with full support, always.

Hmm, well you have me there, I haven't really tried out the chrome browser so I can't really put my 2 cents in on the matter. Hmm well I don't know why connecting to the network would be a bad thing? I have verizon and their "unlimited data" plan so I guess for me its not really an issue. I actually have WIFI turned off on my motodroid simply because my 3g coverage is everywhere so there is no need to have my phone go back and forth between wifi and my network. However, if you have a limited data plan I suppose this could be a problem. For me though, the android mobile OS is excellent! It's very easy to get yourself high rankings in search engines, you can't just expect your site to rise into the top results when you are a new or your quality is poor in comparison to other sites of the same genre. With a little research and careful planning you can easily pull search traffic from google without any problems. There are many tricks and you cannot simply blame the site for your poor search results. As for the ISP thing, the service they will be providing is ultra high-speed, I think it would be very very apparent to anyone using their ISP that other search engines load slow when... every site should load really fast. They would instantly be blacklisted by other ISPs and the other ISPs would make sure you knew they were doing it. I think the problem is people fear larger companies when they start taking a large market share. While it does give them great power to have such a backing, one simple mistake(like lagging other search engines through their ISP) would completely ruin their reputation, its silly to think they would even consider doing that.

Google's products are quality though, and usually open-source when its tech-related. Much room for improvement. As long as the service is good, I'll be using it. I already use their mobile OS android on my phone... it rawks lol

Mines not advanced as what he is looking for. Although, if you are really interested I could upgrade this mod and let you know when it is complete.

This is very nice, much better than mibbit for sure, +1 =)

If you have purchased a copy of this mod after november 5th and are having troubles please send in a support ticket.

If you make a turn-based game that takes prizes it almost guarantees quick donations so that users can get ahead early. However, these are risky as sometimes you do not make your money back, so make sure you know what you are doing haha I've ran a turn-based game like this twice, made money the first time and lost money the second, however the loss was due to a poor decision made by my partner at the time...

Damn right, 50 cents is half a cheeseburger! lol

Everyone who purchases from Cronwerks gets notified if there is a bug in their mod and and update was made, EVERYONE. And i do actually have hundreds of customers on msn, almost everyone adds me after a while. Clearly I do update my mods as I have been constantly in this thread, and in threads of other mods as well. These bugs were simple typos that anyone can make, and you seem to think that justifies an argument about my coding skills. You're wrong, plain and simple. The fact that you "have never and will never buy another mod from anyone because you only trust yourself, then you can only blame yourself" only further shows that perhaps you shouldn't be in this thread. This thread is for selling my modification that I have made, from scratch, using my time. You are wasting my time by throwing accusations that are all simply untrue. My users receive very good support and the mods DO work, and I have a support system just to make sure of that. Tons of people use these mods and are very happy with them, and are having no issues. I am no longer going to respond to your posts, I would like to get this back to being my sales thread, thanks. p.s. Nothing about your query looks v1, that's how all php is. That query would run on any website whose database connection was $c.

Yes there is, I have PM'd you.

Could you please stop now so my thread can get back on-topic. Edit: I was incorrect, the first bug you pointed out had been fixed but the second one had not, thank you for bringing it to my attention. Everyone who has purchased can now re-download the mod from "My Mods" and has been sent a pm containing the instructions on how to fix. It is a very simple bug to fix(takes the editing of a single char lol). Simply overlooked when i first created as I believe I only had just enough crystals at all times when purchasing, so I wouldn't have noticed the bug :pinch: Zero-Affect: Obviously I can code, thats why hundreds upon hundreds of mccode developers use my various codes in one way or another. I simply overlooked a single char here and there, not exactly enough to claim I don't know how to code. Everyone makes mistakes, any programmer will tell you this, we've all run into problems similar and I have fixed the bugs in a timely fashion once reported to me. As for my style and the accusation that this is v1 turned into v2: Where would I have gotten all of this code from if it was already created in v1? This mod is clearly not my v1 mod converted, as any coder who compared them side by side could tell, as I now code almost completely different than I used to. This mod also works completely different than the original armory so its quite apparent you are wrong here. My style is nothing I would call "sloppy", I simply plug everything into functions so that an entire mod can be on one page and still run quickly. If you are referring to my style as in html tables and such, yes, it is very ugly and meant to be. Purchasers of my mods all have different game colors/styles and will inevitably change whatever the page looks like anyways. I have no possible way of knowing what their games style is so keeping it plain makes it simpler for them to edit to their liking. I suggest no one to keep the style the same when releasing to the public as it is not attractive to the eye haha). Now please, stop trolling on my posts and lets get this thread back on topic.

1. Like I said, those issues have already been fixed in the patched version. 2. Perhaps if you wouldn't take a negative attitude on every single one of my threads, I might not get upset so easily. 3. My coding style is the type of style that gets the job done and works, I'm pretty sure thats all that counts. I use functions, functions are simple and easy to navigate when helping someone who has never seen the code(ie via support). 4. I have hundreds of game owners that purchase my mods, not just one as you can clearly tell. The "Popular Mods" area of cronwerks isn't simply a list of mods I'm trying to get people to buy. It's ordered by the number of RECENT sales. 5. You're really one to talk about slander. You just spent the last 2 posts going on about bugs that I've already squashed, criticized me for my apparent "sloppy" coding, then told me I was broke and I get 1 sale per month on my site. Perhaps you should take a look in the mirror when it comes to "slander". Contrary to popular belief I do not like spending my day arguing in a PHP Development forum with someone who has nothing better to do than troll my posts and make sure to find a problem with everything I do(*example at link below). If you hadn't noticed I don't spend my time going through your posts and trying to find something to argue with you about, I would appreciate it if you could start to do the same. *[mccode v2.x] Buying custom bounty mod $7

haha it didn't take long for you to start up again. I already have many users with this mod installed just fine on their sites. Also there is no reason for you to add DB SELECTS and using * seems to be working. My style is different than yours, so get over it, if you don't like the way I organize things or pull information from the db, rework it to your liking, but it works this way. Also a few patches have been made already and since you obviously didn't purchase, you won't have those.

Uhm, he asked a question and I linked to one of my mods? I have no idea what you are referring to.

thedestroyer did end up using the free support and getting his error fixed shortly after my reply.
