  1. I have a 95% completed project on a localhost right now. It's based on the old "Mccodes LITE" I might go through and update a few things, grab the 5gb package and let it roll. Let's see what kind of 2 year deal you're willing to give me @Dave😉
  2. Horizon is a fantastic game. If you like playing RPG/Action type games. Killzone is a fantastic game. I believe the one you are referencing is Killzone Shadow Fall (4) that was released on PS4 and showed a huge graphical leap in terms of technology for the time. Humankind is actually a video-game I'm currently playing. I was playing it on my laptop due to game pass ultimate but since it's port over to console I've been enjoying it on there.

I don't aim to be mean or offering unwarranted criticism - I'm just trying to offer some productive thoughts that I feel would benefit you and your growing community. From personal experience the registration/welcome system is key, it should be extremely high up on the list. It's first impressions, it's incredibly hard to change a first impression. Especially when it comes to online games. You have to have the ability to make the player want to return to login again. Once you have given them a good first impression, keep involved with the community, give them regular updates on upcoming features and things in the works. Also when it comes to online games Admins should never have a playing account. In my experience it causes too many issues with players who take these games seriously. These are players that will usually donate to further the development of the game - You have to keep them on side, It just is what it is. Even go as far as excluding your admin account from rankings that way there is no confusion within the player base.
  4. Let's get to know each other, I'll go first. My biggest motivation is my father. He was in the military for around 16 years and he always dedicated himself towards his profession, he installed in me a drive and a willingness to want to learn and progress in any field I pursued. After leaving the military he went on to found his own business in the cargo shipping sector. Since seeing him succeed in everything he does really pushes one to want to achieve the levels that he has achieved, especially when you see it every damn day and hear about it! He enjoys life, he travels around a lot, he's taught me a lot, he's pushed me to take chances that I wouldn't have taken. And for that I owe him. I wouldn't be where I am today without his guidance and drive.

Registered to check it out a few short moments ago. My initial thoughts: It's a little... lacking in certain areas - One of those areas is an immersive one. Upon registering I received the standard "You have joined Login!" I would highly recommend some kind of welcoming system to make the new player feel like they are in a little world of their own, give them purpose, give them a pathway to follow to start their journey in your game. Ways you could do that are a very basic welcome message in their inbox - That is the very least I would do. Then you could expand on it and have an interactive tutorial page system where for the first 5/6 page clicks they are following a little tutorial where it shows them what the Mine is, what their energy is going to be primarily used for, what the bravery is used for so on so forth... You've gone a different way than most Mccode games so expand on that, embrace that and build on it. I'll write a more in depth review and analysis when I get some spare time, but for now work on that system that makes a player feel wanted, feel welcomed. Ending notes: Keep up the good work, I like how it's not the same as every other Mccode game out there and remember... enjoy the ride! 🙂
  6. Still as generous as ever! May they continue, May they flourish, May they help all those in need of Mccode assistance! In all seriousness, Great work @Magictallguy - Your contributions to this forum never cease to end.
  7. So here goes. Who here owns a PlayStation 5? Got a couple questions I'd like answered (If you all are willing to be so kind as to share!) How long have you owned your PS5? What genre/type of games do you play? How many hours per week do you play your PS5? Have you all tried out the Horizon series? Have you all tried out the Killzone series? I'm eager to learn everyone's answers. So answer! 🙂
  8. Thank you! Yes, I would say I achieved what I wanted to - I still have a long way to go, but I'm working in the video game sector. I didn't do anymore web development as I got a pretty neat chance to join a training program with a game development company that works on games for a number of systems/consoles. I relocated to Amsterdam. Had a training role which lasted 10 months before I was hired on full time, since then I have earned my way to a senior development planner position. It wasn't quite the role I wanted to begin with, it's a lot less "coding/programming/engineering" but it enables me to have a strong input on the developmental stages of a project.
  9. Ooooooh MTG is still around! A true legend of the forum - It's been a really really really long time.
  10. What a sad day this was... I have risen from the ashes.

    Security.

Uhm, I'm Finnish so... English isn't my first tongue, But what does the above even mean? I tried Google Translate, However it doesn't seem to recognize the language. :/
  12. Well hello guys and girls of MWG. Just your friendly Finnish guy here, I just want to announce that I won't be active on this forum anymore. I haven't been a member for a very long time, But I hope I have helped those who are members of this forum in some way. I've met some great people here, A few that I would honestly call friends. Me leaving this forum doesn't end my web development progression, It is just 1 path cleared on a long journey.   Why am I leaving? Pfff, A few reasons really, Couple that I would rather not say. But mainly due to the fact that, I just don't feel this forum is the right place for me to go forward and to help me progress in my online development skills. ;) Am I quitting game development? No, No not at all! I'm going to pursue a career in online game development, I want to finish a couple text based game projects I have. And then after that, I have some big plans to go into the Indie gaming development sector (for consoles). I'm not very good at goodbye's, I'm much more of a "Hello" kinda person... :D Anyway, Don't be sad that I'm leaving, You can still contact me and talk to me on Skype and by E-mail. Or If your really old fashioned, Send me a letter. So, Goodbye everybody!
  13. Hi everyone, As some of you will know that read the collab experiences, I have hired Zettieee in the past and was absolutely amazed by his work. I hired him yesterday to create another game layout, And yet again the work he produced was of top quality and matched my specifications. He allowed me to watch on TeamViewer, Even allowed me to scroll through fonts (using remote control) to find the perfect font that I liked. I've run out of good things to say about Zettieee, He's a great guy, Great designer, Just great great great. Thank you very much Zettieee! :)
  14. You should have in your settings table:   payment-one_raffle 333 payment-two_raffle 222 payment-three_raffle 111   Change the 333,222,111?
  15. Look in your "settings" table.
