  1.) I have been administrating servers and VPS accounts for a little over 2 years. I began my career with djabhosting.com in 2011 and moved into helping MNG with nuxengine.me in 2013. When nuxengine.me shut down approximately 1 month ago, I purchased dcsghosting.com and decided to start my own. 2.) I manage the server myself but it is located in a datacenter in northern Canada, so technically it is only partially managed by me. 3.) At the moment, I personally do not backup the server contents, but will be adding methods to do so in the very near future. I am hoping to upgrade tonight or tomorrow to a much larger, faster, and more stable system. 4.) If the server has any downtime, I do have 2 methods of fixing it. I have a separate server that is "married" to the first allowing all accounts to continue running smoothly, or I put the server into maintenance mode and work on it ASAP. General downtime lasts less than 2 hours and is done in the middle of the night (US PST) 5.) No user aside from the owner has SSH access as it is part of the root. However, if I am to upgrade and offer VPS packages, I should be able to include SSH for each VPS. 6.) At the moment, PEAR packages are not configurable with the server I am using, but again, in the near future with this upcoming upgrade to the Dedicated server, I should be able to configure them. 7.) To answer the question on how up to date the technology is: CENTOS 6.5 - Linux OS cPanel Version - 11.42.1 (build 16) Apache version - 2.4.9 PHP version - 5.4.28 MySQL version - 5.6.16 Architecture - x86_64 All software has recently been updated to the latest, most stable versions. I give 1-2 weeks notification on when I plan to upgrade the server or any of its components within. I give all clients a 15 day notice of when they are reaching their allotted quotas and when they need to upgrade their own accounts.   Feel free to continue asking questions as I am here to promote, answer, and help

I would just like to add to this a few recent screen shots detailing the full issue with [MENTION=69622]MNG[/MENTION]. There are a total of 14 Screen shots in the attachments to this post. 1 is a paypal log stating I made the payment for the PSD, which I did finally receive. The other paypal log is a transaction from 4/26/14 stating my payment had been made. The others are a full conversation between me and MNG/Selling Hope (same person - Matt Payne) on Skype that details the full issue at hand. Let's see what all of you think about this.

By non biased, I mean we don't necessarily care what is hosted so long as it is not illegal. At the moment, as stated, the packages are extremely small due to the server being rather small as well. Starting package is: 5GB HDD Space 5GB bandwidth 5 FTP accounts 5 Email accounts 5 Addon Domains   Secondary package is: 10 GB HDD space 10 GB Bandwidth 10 FTP accounts 10 Email accounts 10 addon domains The server will, however, be upgrading soon to one much faster, offering 32GB ram, each package will then begin with 25GB HDD space and 100GB bandwidth.   Only issue is, when I acquired the game, I asked for the license. You told me you would transfer it to me WHEN you found it. It has been a year and a half and NOW I see it on a Forum for Sale? What the ****? True ownership of the game is mine, therefore the license should be mine. I stopped using McCode ONLY because the License was NOT there when I acquired the game. Gamble message me on Skype!

Kyle, this topic was simply started to explain that my game, wisecrime.com was no longer Skooda's and to update everyone on what is going on with it since the last topic was about 3 years old. I also decided not to begin a new topic, so asked if anyone would be willing to create a grpg laoyut for me. I am willing to pay between $50 and $150 depending on the quality and how eye appealing it is to the user.

Well, MNG owned the domain... Me and Gamble still had the MCC licensing lol. But, I bought the domain from MNG so I had the full ownership name, game, and all lol. but, MNG has been helping me with it all this time and without him, the game would be lost. Speaking of help, I am looking for a new layout for Wise Crime. MNG, I know you can do it, but I also know that you are extremely busy. Any offers would be kindly appreciated.

I don't plan on it. Paid too much to have everything made and converted to where it is now. I am, however, going to change the layout and make it a bit more secure here coming up. Still has a lot of work to be done, but I look at it as a small challenge.

As I figured lol. Thus why I opened the new thread, to inform people what was going on with the game and that it is under new ownership and using a different game engine than it was back then. I figured it was time to update things.

Since the old thread was locked for being outdated, I would like to post a new and updated topic for my game Wise Crime. Since the last thread, the game has switched owners 2 times. Once to Gamble and once to Me. Skooda stopped work on the game while halfway through the McCodes V2 layout he was working on and sold it to Gamble. Gamble and I worked on it for another year or so and determined it was too unfinished. So, last year, when the ownership was fully transferred to me on my Birthday in March, I decided to use a gRPG script with it. The script was pretty basic and the layout is extremely gray, but I am working on getting a new look and feel for the game as well as hiring someone to make a few mods for me. I do own the McCodes V2 license and domain, but choose not to use the McCodes V2 at the moment.

This game is well over 3 years old and has been in the hands of 5 different owners. The posts here are extremely outdated and prior posts stating that I reset often are not true. Since I purchased the game in 2010, it has only reset 3 total times. I have only reset the game to secure the database as passwords were originally in open text and are now md5 hash secured. I also had another reset after including a classes mod that I purchased. Since then, no account has been reset. And, every time the game is reset, I back up my database and once a user joins back, i restore their account, including all new details. So, no one can complain about a reset.

I would just like to point out the fact that Deathxxx is not me and I am the actual owner of WiseCrime.com. The layout used is plain and is being worked on to be more eye appealing and user friendly.
