The best way for this is not decryting the password but as previously said would be to reset the password. Free modifications can be found on the forums which will allow your users to do this. The resetting of a password does not take very long and if you look around most websites will reset password and not give them there old one. Hope this helps :)

Follow the help file your recive when downloading the codes from the members area at mccodes.com If you host does allow crons then following the simple guide line gived you should not have a problem. If you do still encounter problems let us know and we can try and help :). If you do ever knock yourself off admin simply go to the data base under users click the edit button for yourself and change user_level to 2.

My css folder? It will be in your .css "file" not folder :) (unless you have your css kept in a folder)

Just in case the link to the very good instalation video by david didn't help you. The error lets you know that when the installer attempted to connect to the database it was unable to. The reason to this would be because the config.php or mysql.php (depending on what version your using) has not been correctly configured. You need to open the file depending on your version either mysql.php or config.php and correctly enter the database name, password, username, password and the hostname. You must make sure you create a user for the database in your control panel.

On a side note nice to see the community posting more, may it not be in the mccodes section as before it does meaning that with more posts the forum will become alive again. Also it is nice to see the posts are looking at different areas than just good ole mccodes.

What he is after is a modification that i can only recall one person making over a year ago.   After for example 14 days it emails the user inviting them back to the game.   Mass mailer will not work as it has to be manualy sent and also goes to all users. Newsletter would not work as it has to be sent manually and goes to all users.   I think it was seanybob that made the modification.

Must point out i did not make the mod for him, simply pointed out where he was going wrong with the free one posted on the forums.

Hello, Lets start by telling a little about this thread (Something you usually do). I have recently been researching the Website market to try and find a place in which there is a possibility of creating a successful Website. After alot of research into the market i found there is not much space for new Website to be able to become a huge success. Although i did see that there could be a possible niche in link up Website. What i mean by link up Website is creating more than one Website whilst linking it with another and so forth (I do not mean a HTML link). By intwining the Website it allows visitors to have all there needs or at least some of them in one place. This then means they do not have to go to 3 or more of the market leaders for what they need. They are able to access our Website and find more than one service they wish to use in one easy and simple place. The project will run under the name of Xvon and all websites created through the project will be named following the Xvon name. The following list and short descriptions are of possible "link up" websites.   Xvon the game - An online text based RPG free to play with unique features, easy user interface and a new twist on the basic MCCODE Mafia/mob games currently flooding the market. Xvon image center - This is an online gallery feature for people to post, rate, comment and store their photos, this can be linked with the game to allows users within the game to upload there photos host them and have albums to share with other users. Whilst drawing in extra visitors who simply with to hold/backup there photos on an online photo album. Xvon social - This is a social networking site, the site has been created for those that use our sites and with to connect to others that also use them, this will be built to be used with the game as user profiles and friends list but also our other websites will also be linked. Xvon diary - This is an online diary for our users, you are able to hold your passwords, contact details, notes, websites and more all securely in one place once again linked in with our other 3 websites. Xvon shop - The shop is for all Xvon merchandise (Game merchandise, Xvon LTD merchandise and more). All items that are sold in the shop will have the portal website on it. Any items sold in the shop are great for advertising purpose and 25% of all profits will be donated to great Ormond street childrens hospital (GOSH).   Donations to GOSH will be made quarterly with a validity of donation posted on the website. GOSH is a charity close to my heart as they helped me battle cancer when i was younger.   As of yet i am still doing further research and drawing up a structured plan in how the websites will work with each other e.t.c. This research may go on for a few more months at the same time i will be enquiring into further brand prospects.   Staff will be hired once the project goes underway, staff will be paid and not on a profit share basis. I may before undergoing this project look into partnership with a graphic/code person. If i do look for a partnership the person must be able to help with funds, be over 18 and willing to sign a contract which i will draw up with my solicitor. Currently there is no set completion date for this project but i must assure you it will be a good couple of years.

Agreed. Just a couple of ideas. 1) Only remove a stamp if the message is actually opened if you decide to charge a stamp to open a received mail. 2) Enable users to message staff and receive messages from staff for free.

Not contributed much recently and to be truthful i can not be bothered to code anything. Although i do still want to give to the community so i am offering a free service. I am willing to create professional flash slide shows of your screen shots to add to your website or game. Examples of flash works can be found here Your flash slide show can have as many photo's you like on it, it can have music, you can choose your style template, your transactions and more.
