  1. So, Over a year later still no sign of this game being released. Yeah, I was right. About time people see reality. All you people bashing me for what I said.
  2. Rulerofzu, seriously GTFO. I don't post on this forum very regularly, but every time I see one of your posts your just having a go at everyone and anyone. You seem to think you know it all, and are better than everyone. Unless you can change your attitude to something more constructive, then ill go with what Cronus said, fuck off. Back on topic, stop bashing Cronus with every single thing he try's to offer. I've not purchased anything from Cronus in a while, but he is a good enough coder. His support, just give him the benefit of the doubt, most of the time he will support customers within his estimated time. If no one has anything constructive to add to this thread other than bashing, then please just don't post. Sure, his service may not be perfect, but it doesn't serve all the abuse it's getting. This would piss off absolutely any new member of viewer, it's people like rulerofzu that put this forum down.
  3. England are ****. They didnt even deserve to win any of their group games, yet they got through. Sooner or later England will get a thumping, which is what they deserve. Italy are better than england, yeah, but knowing England they will probably scrape through undeservidly like they usually do.
  4. The reason I said this, is because I can remember quite a few times when you have said an "ETA", and it still hasn't been released. If you release your game within your estimated "ETA", then great. But I'd bet anything that this game doesn't get released for at least another few years, at this rate. Good luck, but I think you should get a move on with your game. Doesnt mean I don't think it will be good, though (hopefully).
  5. Or in other words, ETA, end of 2013. From what I can remember this project has been dragging and dragging on. No matter how big or complicated your game is, there's no way it would take like 3+ years to complete.
  6. For gaming, I've got Astro (A40?) headset earphones. They are really great for gaming, and the mic on them is great quality.
  7. LOL. If you think your going to get any more than a couple of search engine visitors by doing this, in the most competitive market there is, then lol... It's hard enough trying to get decent traffic even when you have tonnes of high quality, original articles.
  8. Why is it ONLY game reviews on your site? If someone wants game reviews, they will goto IGN or something. If you really want this kind of site to be successful, you need to write about topics that have not been written about much before, and topics that are not so widespread as game reviews. The technology blog niche is by far the most crowded on the internet, so I suggest you really take some time when writing your articles to make sure they include good keywords, and also you do some serious link building for your site. That is the only chance you have of making your website pretty popular, but by the way it currently looks, you need to make BIG changes. Good luck.
  9. Pfft I dont see why I shall explain myself to a troll such as yourself. But I will anyway. If you goto that link where the demo is, (also where the screenshots were taken), its quite clear that the site no longer exists. So what you want me to do? Email my hosting company from like 2 years ago and see if they have still got a backup of my site from then? That should work... Ive said it many times, I no longer have this mod. So stop trolling my thread and get back under your rock.
  10. Really? Please do send me a url to this screenshot which is located on MY website. If you are talking about the screenshots in this thread, then please do look at the source of those images; http://makewebgames.io...
  11. Pretty easy, actually. New computer + no backup transfer = lost data (unless you keep your old computers, which I dont).
  12. I liked your game. However, would my investment in a game like your have paid back? Probably not, i think anyway. I dont think it has enough potential to go really big. Good luck with your game though!
  13. Many people would work for $5. Mabe you wouldn't, but many would. Not everyone may be on the same earnings as you would (not saying I know your earnings though), and $5 may mean a heck of a lot to them. If you are just starting off in the online world, then earning any amount, never mind $5 is an achievement. I'm pretty sure your kind of attitude will be very discouraging and disheartening for any of the younger game owners or developers, or even those who have never really earned a decent amount online.
  14. Ive added your banner in a 50% rotation system in 728x90 position. Mail me later if you want some information on the ad (eg, impressions, clicks, CTR).   As for the person before you who asked, I may add your banner later. Im looking for some more good looking ad banners.
  15. I have recently developed a new ad manager system for my video hosting website, and am looking to test it out, and see if all is good (and also do the community a favor?). Depending on how many people want the free advertising, I can offer upto 150,000 banner impressions per day between all advertisers. This free advertising will only last a few days while I test, but you should get a massive amount of new users if your banner is good. Banner sizes I am accepting is 428x60, 728x90, and 300x250. Your banner must be quite appealing or I wont accept your advertisement. Post here, or PM me your banner, size, game URL, and email and I will get it active asap. Edit: To take advantage of this offer, you must have at least 40 posts!
  16. Damn... Time to move to http://isohunt.com :)
  17. I can still access it fine. Plus I am on Virgin Media which it says in that article have already blocked it... hmmm....
  18. You could use timestamps. It would work like this: 1) User does crime, the time stamp is inserted to a field in db. 2) User does another crime. (New time stamp - time stamp in db). If it is below 2 (seconds), then update another field in db to 2. 3) Same as number 2, update teh second field in db to 3. If the value is over 2, then update the second db feild to 0 so it will reset. 4) If this value reaches for example 5, the user gets an error message. That's just a rough example of how it works. I don't have time to make a script for it, but I am sure it wouldn't be hard at all to implement to a game.
  19. Hi mate, can you mail me some more stats about your game (eg, members, activate members, traffic, revenue (if any) ect). I may be interested in this.   when you say your looking for games to invest in do you offer a option where when you have made your money back you lower your %? That would have to be discussed with the original game owner, it depends. also what would you bring to a game that you invest in like you say you have owned a game and know how a game works so what would you bring to the table besides money? Ideas, help with some day to day administration duties, big fixing (if any) ect. The original owner will still be the main game manager. if at a later date a game owner did not wish to have you on the team is there a way to buy you out at a set price that is stated in the contract? It depends on how much invested and current game revenue. It would be an option, yes. But it would be impossible for me to put a set price on a contract for a later date buy out. when you say you would want 50% how come what if the game was to only offer you 49% of a game there for making you a silent partner would you be happy with that? Why wouldnt I be happy with 49%? It just means initial investment would be lower. if a game owner wishes to sell his game what rights to that sale do you own? Well if I am on 50% revenue then obviously I will get 50% of sales cash. and when you say you would like your ideas in-putted what if the game owned did not like your ideas? Then though from my side. Like any partnership, if one doesn't agree on an idea, then it doesn't get implemented. If it's an idea from the original owner though, I would most likely accept it (unless it was clearly going to seriously damage a website). there is a contract to sign ok may i ask who you got to Wright it up the name of the layer/company? There is no legal contract already made, but I am sure i could work something out. I don't like mccodes, but I did say I wouldn't rule them out in some circumstances.
  20. I'm not interested in your game at all. Sorry.
  21. Okay, so lets say you are investing. Here is the scenario: Game 1: Currently making $500 per month, with a good user base. Game 2: Game making $0 per month, with little to none users. You would invest in game 2? Is that what you are saying? I am not saying I am not investing in new games, not at all. But I thought I would just add my point to your opinion.
  22. A lot of you are misunderstanding me a bit I think. Im looking to invest, not enter a partnership where it is equal work. Also, I dis say that 50% is only my idea, but I could settle for less in some cases if I see the potential. Furthernore, I can invest more than $15,000, but that would only be in exceptional curcumstances. Why I dont make a game myself? Because I am not the best with ideas, I do not have the paitence to create a full game, nor do I have the time to create or manage it once it is complete. If you wouldnt accept a $15k investment then that is fine, but there is plenty of people who would, and I have already receoved some reasonable offers.
  23. Rulerofzu, capital investment even on an already made game could massivley help a game reach is highest potential. Not everyone wants an investor, but it will help a massive amount for most people. I am only looking for permnament investment (not yearly like you are suggesting).
  24. What do you want exactly; do you want me to add a big list of features your game must have? Because that's not going to happen. Lets put it this way, if you really are not sure whether or not your game is unique or not, then it probably is not in my eyes. You seem to be the only one who is confused to what I am offering. I am looking to invest in unique games with lots of potential. I have no set definition of 'unique'...
  25. By the way, DO NOT mail me if all your game is, is a out of the box game engine with a new template. That's not what I am after. That seems to be most of what I am getting at the minute...
