I'm not setting specific requirements on what I class as original. If *I* think it is original, then that is good enough. A game doesn't have to meet a specific criteria exactly. Once/If I want to invest and a contract is arranged, then I will take it from there. If a dispute arises, then it will be a legal route. If you want to know more about that, then go contact a court or something, im not your man ;) There's no point me going into detail about what would happen if a problem arises, because I am assuming a problem wouldnt arise. Where the money goes would be discussed with the original game owner. Theres no point me setting out exact terms of what the money would be spent on in this thread... Honestly, this thread is just to get people to come forward. All the other terms and legal stuff would be agreed on once a deal has been made.

"I would not be looking to buy the whole lot, only (around) 50% of a game." That means 50% of profits goto me.
-
No thanks ;) I am not interested.

I've had a look at your game, and it is not really what I am looking for, sorry. It just looks like the 100s of other grpg games out there with a little different template.
-
Mail me with your game details ect. Your game would have to be super highly modified from original grpg for me to even consider it at all. By the way, I am more looking to invest in games that haven't yet been released, I would much prefer that.

- What guarantees you will get that you will actually ever get back your investment? There is no guarantees. Thats for me to judge. If I see a game with a large amount of potential, and I believe I can make my investment back, then I will invest. If I don't believe I will get my investment back, I won't invest. Simple. - How your investment shall be used? That would be something I would have to discuss with the game owner. It could go towards things such as templates, advertising, marketing, designs, ect... - Will you have your word to say in any decision (or just wait for money back)? Ultimately, it will still be the original game owner that makes all the decisions. However, by investing I would like to put my ideas towards the game, and try and assist in any ideas ect. - Must the game meet some minimum requirements? I would like to say a 'custom game' (eg, not mccodes) however I have seen some very good engine games before, so I don't 'really mind'. My main requirments would be that the game is different, mostly all unique features, and that the game owner takes it very seriously (eg, it's not just a hobby game). - Is there any kind of contract to sign? Yes, there would be a contract to sign, like any investment. All that ensures is I get the agreed % of profits, and the original game owner doesn't fob me off. - How will you make the payment? Bank wire, or PayPal. But I prefer bank wire. However, I wouldn't like to send the money in a lump sum. I would rather provide it in batches as it is required. - What will be your job beside providing some fresh money? As I have said before, it would still be upto the original game owner to make sure everything is going good. The only job i would have is mabe logging into the game every now and then, and dealing with minor things. Other than helping out with ideas/coding, that's about it. I understand if you are suspicious, truly. But I am not just going to hand out $15,000. I am only going to invest in very good quality games, nothing scrappy. I would make a game myself, but I really just don't have the time to create and manage it, I have several other projects.

I am looking to invest in new, or even already old games. I would not be looking to buy the whole lot, only (around) 50% of a game. I am an experienced game owner, so I could help quite a bit, however I would be expecting the original owner/developer to take full control of most things to do with the game. I am ONLY looking to invest in very high quality games, with lots of potential; so if you are going to come to me with an out of the box mccodes game or something, don't waste your time. You must be very serious about your game for me to consider investing. I can invest anything upto $15,000, however, DO NOT expect that amount automatically. I would be happy to invest $500+ if I see a game has the potential. Let me know if you would be interested in partnering with me. I can provide the investment you require if your game really does have what it takes. Mail me! Cheers!

You have permissions to use this image? The only thing that makes this fairly good is the picture, and im assuming its free, or you dont have permissions to use it.

Battlefield 3 is **** on PS3/Xbox. I played it on the PS3 for a while, then played it on the PC. It is 100000000x better on the PC, honestly. If your PC can handle it, play it on that for sure.

Good luck with BBG web gaming! :)

are you using a CMS? Thoughts or comments.
Kieran-R replied to Bane_Star's topic in Question of the day
Wordpress doesnt need to be used as just a pure blogging platform at all. I have seen many sites built on Wordpress and they are not blogs at all. Wordpress is certainly a CMS. You can edit Wordpress as much as you need. It's a blog by default, but it can be easily changed into login only areas, static pages, polls, (article) directories, and much more. -

Wordpress is definitely the best CMS. However, if you are looking for one to run a game on, then to be honest I don't think using a CMS at all would be a good idea. -
TechTizmo has undergone some updates to the theme, and site structure. Please keep the reviews coming! Any suggestions, comments are greatly appreciated.

I am looking to take on a new writer or two for technology blog, http://techtizmo.com. This is a paid, and long term job. Weekly payments to be precise. I am looking for someone who is very interested in gadgets, smart phones, tablets, and just general tech news. The article I require are mostly in a news format, and you will be required to find news story's to write about on your own. I am looking for at least one article every two days from you. Being native English is NOT required, however your English writing skills must be top notch. If you are interested in this job, please PM me, or preferably email me at [email protected] for a quicker response.

I've tried and tested. It definitely does not effect your search rankings towards everyone. It only effects search results towards your friends on Google+.
-
Although it is (was?) a great idea, I don't think it will work as well as you may think for a couple of reasons: 1) The big hype for Google +1's in my eyes, is over. At first people thought it would really improve their website's rankings. The results have proved very little, if not nil. 2) There's already quite a few of these sites, and I think you've missed your chance in the market. If this was set up a few months ago, then it would have done great. However, whats to stop people going to same kind of websites with a MUCH larger user base? The site looks great, but unfortunately I think you've came just a little late!

BBG Web Gaming has undergone some big changes behind the scenes, and you should now have a much more enjoyable experience on BBG Web Gaming. More major updates coming soon to help build more user and game players interaction, and other updates. Furthermore, a new advertising campaign will be getting underway shortly with a decent amount of money being invested into.

I couldnt agree more. I myself have bought and sold websites in the past through various platforms, and one thing I can tell you for sure is that the guys who are ready to whip out $5k on a website, are looking to pretty much guarenteed make money. Buyers will.take "my website has great potential" as a pinch of salt, and most likely they wont even take a second look at your website. Furthermore, I can also tell you from expereince that if you want to sell a website on a place like Flippa, and you have no proof of past profit, or traffic, then youve absolutely no chance to getting any more than mid to high $xxx. Good luck wity trying to sell your game though. I really do hope you find a buyer for the price you are looking for!
-
What kind of domains? High PR, keywords, brandable, LLLL, game related? I may be able to sell you some.
-
It looks good. However I dont like the layout of the actual content. You defintelly need to work on that. A good layout is nothing without a good layout of the content.
-
No unfortunately I'm not a designer, however I own a toplist: http://bbgwebgaming.com. I think you can clearly see that the layout there is a lot more user friendly, and appealing to the eye. It may not be the BEST in the world, but it does the job. I think it was Peter W3 Theory who designed the layout. Was pretty cheap too. If you want a layout with a similar structure to mine for cheap, then give him a shout.
-
Layout definitely needs improving. If I was a gamer, or a game owner, I would be tempted to leave the website straight away. I suggest you put the layout as your top priority. Good luck.
-
You can't honestly expect to get any sales without any examples. Right? Damn. A typo requires a post?
-
First one in my opinion. Straight to the point, and no need to click for fancy effects ect.
-
I'd sell it to the current top bidder and run!
