That seems like a copy of murder-city.net, which was owned by samz but then sold on, as due to his paypal problem or something. This is the same copy but being resold again, with some colour changes!

Hey All Ok i am still at the bottom of the learning ladder, so please excuse my lack of knowledge, but what is the difference between returning a variable then printing or echoing it? Is their any advantages of return over print or echo?

I think your host has disabled your use for crons, probably too much load or something.

C'mon guys we should give credit to where it's due, Mccodes built a base which alot of us worked up from. Lets not decredit such great learning grounds. :) I am greatful that mccodes has bugs and exploits, i'v learnt alot from mccodes in a practical sense then reading any tutorial. Plus it's because of mccodes, this great community is where it is. Positive thoughts :)

Not really, just look through the files and recode your current system while observing the repatched. it's what i tend to do when it's repatched. not that my version insecure, but you never know.

- Try to keep the page size as small as you can. Use global functions to perform repetitive tasks. In this case would you say it's best to spread the code in more then 1 file, just to make sure the page size remains small?

SO is mccodes v2 getting patched again, but by Jordan? Just wondering, those who have already bought mccodes v2, would they get the new secured version for free or is it another buy?

Hey i won't mind playing a game thats been up for 4 years, whats your url? :) And why don't you just stop people from refreshing the wiki page, put a time limit on it, like every 5 seconds or somethings. it might help prevent constant refreshes.

Hey all, Once i have finished working on my site mods etc, then i want to then go through the entire code to make sure it's efficient and uses less resource ect. The current methods i am aware of are... Instead of print use echo as it's slightly faster. Only select whats needed from the database. Try to separate variables from the strings . Like echo ' hello, $Var '; Don't use sprinf as it slows down the code. Use Arrays for data as it's faster to grab. Don't use too much PNG images. What do you guys think of the above, and what other small or big things need to be taken in to acccount?

Hey all, I am look for somesort of preg replace which will replace html symbols and convert them in to something else to avoid hacks attempts in input boxex ect..

You know what would be a great addition to this mod. have a stats table for the pets, similar to the userstats, have different pet stats, eg. speed, bitepower and whatever you can think of to suit your game...and sent requests to other users where they can accept and battle their pet with you. Also a betting system would be great addition to this, and keep the users busy with multi stats training. Mabye the pet could also level due to his stats ect... I've already planned out how to make a system like this but just need the free time to code it.

Hey all, One thing i really like and have seen on games is the color change as the user stats increase. does anyone know how this is done as can be applied to mccodes v2? Say for example you start off with 10.0000 stat, n this case it's red but as the stat increases the color slowly changes n to another. Many thanks

The Close(); and read(); functions don't work as it says they are undefined. How should i define them?

Yep, dayo is a quaility mod developer, that why i asked him to make a custom mod for me.

Your are right mate it's not easy finding someone who is actually trust worthy, even tho most claim they are and their friends will give them a thumbs up giving them a blind boost in rep. From what i have experenced some are just plain time wasters as they don't do what they promised and then they tell you to go elsewhere as they are busy. Well why post on threads that you make "custom layout" if you are always busy. I have contacted illegilife and waiting for a layout. i hope he will do the layout.
