Buying Mccodes is a total waste of money with or with out help. Unless your trying to learn ways of how NOT to code. If thats the case then its not a waste..

Yes I agree. Those who do know mccodes will most likely choose alain's engine (including my self).. If people do their research before buying they will eventually find out about mccodes past. Especially if they come to these forums how ever most people don't do much research. so yes those that don't know mccodes will choose that over alain's. Look at the support aspect of all this. Knowing Mccodes and their reputation, and knowing alain and his reputation around these forums, who's engine would you choose? Alain is very active on these forums, he's always helping someone or guiding them in the right direction. Dabs and Coldblooded on the other hand are never here, never trying to help, never trying to point anyone in the right direction. That pretty much sums it up. Mccodes engine is outdated, Redux is recoded outdated v2 No updates, lack of support from the creators among other things. Lets keep it real, Do you really think that they are going to support their 4th engine any better? Hopeful but doubtful.

Dabs and Coldblooded I don't think realize what they had. For those of you who have been here for a long time know that people used to post mods (free and paid) on a daily basis. C.E (mwg old name) was popular as well as mccodes. But with the lack of attention, security and updates they gave their engine, it went down hill. These forums died off just as quick as the engine. In order to get the Mccodes name back up in good standings, they're gonna have to update their old broken engines, maybe release some free mods for people to use and get confidence back from those who lost confidence in them. They are going to have to show the community that they REALLY stand behind their product instead of releasing broken "out of the box" engines.

OMG Good thing I was sitting when I came back. I saw Dab's answer a post and nearly fell out of my seat. Thats the problem "regardless of forums posts"?? what do you want? a phone call?? how are you going to look to the future when your past makes your "company" look horrible? Fix your broken "out of the box" engine's. Release some updates or something so your customers know you think of your product instead of releasing junk, taking their money, and hiding for months on end

mccodes is already down the toilet. trying to make it right (finally) is to little to late in my opinion. With alain getting ready to release his engine, do you think anyone is gonna wanna buy v3? with the shitty support they have given the community for the past 3 years, I think not. I'll wait for alain to release his engine. at least I know if bugs are found or exploits he'll be on it..

when a company or a product has as bad of a reputation as mccodes does, all the promises in the world ain't gonna make it better. I'm Gon' keep this real, Mccodes is dead, took a month or more to fix your hacked site (Looks very Very bad for your business), Security on all your versions was very very poor, Your lack of support made mccodes go down hill. Now your planing on releasing v3? Well with people like Alain releasing their own engine for a very good price, The support we all know he's gonna offer, and with a reputation like he's got , why would anyone wanna purchase an other "broken out of the box" game from mccodes?

Why is it everytime someone new comes along and says they need help with their game Someone has to say "do you have a valid license?' Just because he's asking a question about mccodes don't mean he has to have a license. I know a lot of people who have a copy of Mccodes who use it as a learning tool as to what NOT to do. Now to answer your question, you can edit the header.php file and style.css file. Play around with the colors till you find something you like. Back up your original copy so if you screw up majorly you have a good working copy.

would have worked either way. His error wasn't the back ticks it was the missing table

um double check my code it clearly says jail_reason. Mccodes v2's user table is jail_reason and not jailreason and thats why he's getting the error.
