I was thinking it was too dark, but I wanted a very dark feel due to it being directed towards gaming and such. The background was really a focal point I wanted all the elements to not be connected and to be "floating" in between one another. Could you potentially give me any detailed changes you would personally make to this template?

I was looking for a nice template for my new top site I was creating but I couldn't find anything decent that would suit my site. So I attempted to create something eye pleasing in Photoshop. Any input and feedback is more then appreciated! (70% export) What would you improve? Would you want to add your game to this site? Is it to dark? To much red? Any help is welcomed!

When running any form of service you should just acknowledge the problem and allow the complaint to be registered, and then apply a fix if needed. Instead of trying to fight it and prove that your current code works. Will make the customer happier, and considering you're arguing this on a public forum it could certainly drive away some larger potential clients. Dave, I did actually have a long look through the code to try look for something which would result in RulerOfZu's problem. But as I did relise that the error he was reporting didn't make sense compared to the code, then I was just posting that to try and resolve the problem, and rule out what he was originaly reporting as the problem. I wasn't taking a dig at how you did it, just trying to educate you slightly in the whole "the customer is always right" thing.

Whats the project? What type of site is it? Commercial, Game, etc. Whats the budget for the layout? Do you require it to be coded? Make your post more detailed more likely to attract more designers!

You may (or may not) wish to change if($ir['location'] != 9) { die("This page cannot be accessed while in another city."); } To if($ir['location'] != 9) { echo 'This page cannot be accessed while in another city.'; $h->endpage(); exit; } It will include the footer from your theme and it's generally better practice.

I'm not experiencing this on every page load. But at certain times certain pages do have a tendency to lag. Is it all pages lagging or just a select few?
-
This is debatable!

Unless you've brought a custom script. It wont work. I seem to remember the Mccodes V2 default IPN never actually working properly.
-
Could quite easily just re-write the system to use timestamps. Then you could even have second ones. Whats your budget for this project?
-
I've integrated the Mccodes engine into Facebook before using a the framing option. Just write another login method and then make a theme which fits the width of the window and you're done.

I took a little look at their API and it was soo horrible to even get to some form of documentation. There are so many other better mobile phone payment systems around.

Do a curl request, you could also use file_get_contents they both do a similar thing and would both work for what you're after.

If you wish to provide feedback you should provide better feedback. Make it more in-depth instead of just putting the work down stating it's childish. So for instance you could of said something similar to Spud about smoothing the edges and making it in a higher resolution, or a change of color or something similar.

They're both still used. Meaning you ultimately as a web developer should still care for both.

IE is still a browser... people still care for that! But yeah it should work in all browsers but doesn't but it's not really our issue! Let Jordan fix it!
-
RockMelt runs on the a custom version of Chrome and Chrome uses the Apple Webkit to render pages, If it's not a browser then I'm not real?

Create a new thread in the collaboration section with evidence to back up your claims, please try and keep this post on subject.

Many of the older members of this community will most likely remember my old Mccodes V2 donation system. Which I'm going to admit was incredibly buggy and never fully finished. I recently re-wrote some area's of the code making sure that all the features are working correctly, i may of certainly missed some that's why this mod comes with unlimited upgrades of the standard donation system. If you purchased this system before, but never received the patch which was sent out to everyone who purchased the mod. Or if you have the old version please contact me at [email protected] with proof of purchase and the domain name you installed the script on. Screenshots: Features: Donation Cart System PayPal IPN System allowing your game to make profit when your not there! Ability to add unlimited amounts of items to a donation pack. Ability to add new donator packs from the staff panel. BOGOF (Buy one get one free) is able to be toggled from the Staff Panel A discount system (Specify how many packages a user buys before relieving a discount. So for instance you could set it to if a user buys 3 or more packages to give them a 10% discount). Pricing: Currently this mod is priced at $20 (Which was the original price yonks ago!), This includes all future updates to this script along with support if the script refuses to work. Purchase: If you wish to purchase this modification you can either contact me via email at [email protected] or you can alternatively send me a PM on here. Questions? If you have any worries or would just like to ask me something you can (yet again) contact me on my email at [email protected] or you can (again) alternatively contact me via PM on here.

I don't believe there are exact lists, but you can easily compare item lists for larger games and then see what kind of items they use and even copy part of the list. So for a medieval game you could check out something like Oblivion and for a war game something like COD MW2 they're all pretty accurate with their items I believe. Just don't go stealing game art from then!

Did I just hear the words DCMA whispered in my ear D:
