It says do not press so I dont press it, nothing annoying about it. I can control myself when a sign says do not trespass/cross/enter, you dont get the uncontrollable urge to find out whats behind the door do you? no you just let it be. Thats exactly what you should do with the button, leave it be. If you cannot do that, if you cannot obey the simple command "Do not press" then you have not selfcontrol whatsoever.
