MMA Legacy — browser MMA manager seeking feedback on its training-to-fight loop

Hi, I’m Yaakov. I’m building MMA Legacy, a browser MMA manager where you develop one persistent fighter and test that progress in simulated fights and Online challenges.

The latest addition is six active training mini-games: boxing, defense, stamina, ground-and-pound, kicking and takedowns. Sessions are short, and earned stats, XP and technique practice carry into the fighter’s career.

I’m looking for feedback on the first 5–10 minutes: create a fighter, train, then fight. Is the next step clear? Do the rewards make sense? Does training feel useful in the fight, and what would make you return?

Play: https://mma-legacy.com

No installation needed; an account is required to save progress. It’s an early beta and this is voluntary, unpaid testing. I use AI tools for development and artwork. Please reply here or use the in-game feedback button, with your device/browser if something breaks.

Honestly - I love what direction you have taken & honestly? Brave too - I'm not very aware of any other games in such niche so don't hold me to that, but probably a market no-one is touching ground.

Since it caught my attention and I did check in for 5-10 minutes per your post request, I'll leave you with a couple of things below!

  • Header area (specifically Season One - Quests) overlaps into your Career Level on the standard 100% zoom (1920x1080 on Edge). 90% zoom fixes that but worth resolving it at what most users use or using a flex box. Weight class also suffers by truncation.
  • Player/Beta feedback webform drop down is invisible due to font & background text using the same font colour.
  • Trailer/Preview Video looks very similar to ilia torpuria - I'd be careful with that on a legal front, likely harmless at current stage but can bite you badly at scale.
  • On the Gym/Menu area, you should give the character transparency for it's background - the block behind it is a bit of an eye sore.
  • Honestly during Beta it is fair to expect little content - but you should branch out the loop more with a few other things as it's not something you can login to for long bursts, whether that's your intention or not is another matter. There was only Gym, Training & Fights to do (sorry if I missed anything part of the loop but that's all I could see available). But if you want users to stick around during Beta or feel like they'd want to return on a full launch, I'd give them more to do.
  • One very big positive is how you're focusing localization early on, this has begun biting me in the backside in my own game right now as it's beginning to scale & if I dragged localization through from the beginning I wouldn't have nearly as much work as I do on my hands for that aspect of the roadmap. That's a good move dude.

Would be fairly interested to know what AI tools you use for development also? This is no dig - but it feels very Base44 like in-game, on desktop especially (I haven't tested on Mobile) - Base44 is very prominent and is very easy to spot.

Thanks Reincarnation—this is exactly the kind of specific feedback I need, especially the screen size/browser details and the point about reasons to return. I use OpenAI Codex for development and AI tools for artwork. I'm a nontechnical creator learning as I build.

Beta V2 update — 10 September 2026

The old Season One banner has been removed. There is now a Contact the Creator inbox: type a bug, idea or question, get a direct reply from me, and see whether the request is Received, Investigating or Fixed. New replies/status changes show an unread notification in the game.

The six training mini-games are live, with XP, attribute and technique progress connected to your fighter. I'm still tuning clarity, difficulty and rewards, so honest first-session feedback is especially useful.

An account is needed to save your fighter; no installation. If you have 5–10 minutes, try training once and then an Online fight: was it clear what to do, and did the progress feel worthwhile? Tell me here or through Contact the Creator.

I've noted the other layout, artwork and longer-session points too; I'm not claiming they're all resolved in this update. Thanks for taking the time to test!

All the game is AI generated :)

Visual update from the current build:

• Training now develops the same fighter you take into Online.
• Every division has a champion, contender and rating ladder.
• Your first Online win pays Career XP and fight money.

I’d especially value feedback on whether the Training → Online → Reward loop is clear from these screens.
