sniko Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 > Ok most of you agree that I suck at coding and hey I not proud of it either but if I want to make a successful text base game Start small. Get your programming skills to a reasonable level before taking on a mammoth task, such as creating a game. Quote

HazardBoy Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Get some sleep mate! I once read an article about a genius programmer that worked non stop and made millions of dollars. One day he went to sleep and never woke up. Find an idea and do small sprints of coding that give you results. Quote
Newbie Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 As sniko said take your time and learn the lingo first then try playing around with the game code (while game is offline) until you understand what does what making a game should never be a quick option quite a lot of new developers just rump right in the deep end without knowing what does what. Anyways good luck with your learning and hope it all goes well for you. Quote
