Frosty
About Us: Maxleech is a Free Rapidleech and Premium Link Generator Toplist, our aim it to provide you with popular and reliable rapidleech servers and premium link generators without the crap. The difference between us and the competition is that we do not force you to look at pages full of adverts before you reach your destination, we have no advertising at all on our site. MaxLeech uses a refreshing design different to all the other toplists and we use premium licensed scripts to run our site on, we do not use the typical Aardvark script which is very overused and bland. We have integrated our toplist site with popular social networking sites such as Google+ & Facebook so that you can share your favorite sites with your friends! We manually accept all sites so that you know you are getting a quality site, quality over quantity. Site URL: http://maxleech.com/ What I've Done We'll Visiolist is a premade script, it's made by the same coders as Aardvark and from my usage it is an extremely good piece of coding. What I've changed from the Default Setup: I've changed my theme to red and added a logo. I've created Buttons/Banners for the site. I've created a contact us page. I've created a custom error page. I've diverted all out links to a custom exit page i.e. http://maxleech.com/forward/preemlinks/ Edited the way the ranking page looks. I've created a forum http://forums.maxleech.com/ I've edited a default theme so that it looks custom on the forum. I've installed around 6 Plugins available on the Visiolist site. Loads more stuff, too much to mention. It's still a work in progress but the majority is finished. So what do you guys think of my site? Frosty
This project has no defined goal in terms of business. This is a hobby site which i have created and maintain and i work on it in my spare time. It's a Top-list for rapidleech servers & premium link generators. rulerofzu
I don't even understand the goal of the project... Have a bunch of links? In this case its a site listing other sites which also list a bunch of links. Top sites have their uses but really I am a believer that if you wasnt there right at the beginning and are one of the leading sites for its particular market you have no hope of catching up and doing anything substantial. Frosty
My sites does not list sites which list other sites, my site just lists sites which provide a service Rapidleech or Premium Link Generation. I agree with you that it's always best to get in first it's always worth a shot.
rulerofzu
What I am interested in is how you intend to do anything about this Followed one link.....lead to a site with illegal content available to download. Not only that the content was for 18+ of which you have no restrictions or warnings on your site and neither do they. So not only illegal links, of which stating your not responsible for the content and do not host any files yourself is no longer saving you from being possibly prosecuted but the lack of age checks I would say is more than likely going to get you shut down if you get fairly successful. Wickidnezz
you say you have no advertising on your site hmm why is it when I just looked at your site I seen right off the bat 3 Adchoices ads eh just looking threw the 3 pages theres a total of 7 Adchoices ads About Us: Maxleech is a Free Rapidleech and Premium Link Generator Toplist, our aim it to provide you with popular and reliable rapidleech servers and premium link generators without the crap. Why would i need to claim that i do not host anything myself? I honestly do not care because anyone with 2 peas for a brain can clearly see that nothing is being hosted therefore there is no point of putting up a "We don't host any files ourselves" it is clear what the purpose of this site is to someone looking for it, we link to rapidleech/premium link generators which in themselves are not illegal, although thank you i might put up some notice that we are not responsible for the content of other sites. you say you have no advertising on your site hmm why is it when I just looked at your site I seen right off the bat 3 Adchoices ads eh just looking threw the 3 pages theres a total of 7 Adchoices ads Adverts were put on yesterday which is after this post was made, just trialling them. rulerofzu
2 peas for a brain You may wish to shake those 2 peas of yours into action then and look more into this than you are doing.

Oh master if you would be so kind as to show me the legislation where it states that i must: Warn users that "We are not responsible for the sites listed" "The content your about to view could contain an adult theme" "This site does not host any files" Because as far as i can see you have just seen a bunch of sites using this and assumed it's law or something like that... rulerofzu
Whilst I am not going to point out all the specifics to you.....you can do your own work, or dont you have a team to do this o_O Your website is hosted in Canada looking at the lookup for maxleech.com so is therefore under US law which has strict rules with regards to the protection of children and the content that they can access. Which includes providing links to where they can access, view and/or download pornographic material. Of which I was able to do in three clicks. So if you are unable to see the problem with that then perhaps I should downgrade you to half a pea up there?
Frosty
Actually I've had a little look and i can't find where it is a legal requirement to have the following: "We are not responsible for the sites listed" "The content your about to view could contain an adult theme" "This site does not host any files" Unless you can backup your statement your all talk mate... I am sorry, but RulerOfZu is right. Well, you don't NEED to, but if you want to protect yourself from lawsuits if it ever came to it, then yes, you will need the protection. Even that won't completely protect you from lawsuits. It would pretty easy to sue you and win, if you did not have those warnings in place. Perhaps looking up some US requirements of which Canadian authorities took on board which outlines the protection of minors with regards to adult content. Tell you what. Run it by your webhost and see what they say. Something along the lines of I am running a leech site which links to websites that contains content of which 1. May or may not be adult in nature 2. May or may not be copyrighted material which no permission has been obtained to provide the content. See if they allow you to carry on. I bet you wont as they will say no. Personally I think the admins on this site should remove this topic and the link in your signature due to the nature of the above. Also you seem to not be really that bothered about the content ive pointed out to you and that it would be easily accessible regardless of the persons age. As a family man all i can say is thank god for filtering which means my kids wont be able to access sites such as this anyway.
