zeeke Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I'm developing CAL to create a new way of playing chess. In this game users manage a group of chess pieces putting them on the board, buying new pieces and organizing matches with other players. In this way it is possible to create amazing chess games, with a lot of queens, rook, etc.. The pieces will play games on their own, according to chess rules. The system is on beta testing, so you can partecipate with suggestions, feedback and bug report. http://www.cal-chess.org Quote
a_bertrand Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Interesting idea, even if I don't like much chess games myself. At least it's a refreshing idea, not the usual mafia gang thing. Quote
zeeke Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 You are right. I didn't find anything similar in internet. I hope people can play this game even they aren't good chess players. Quote
Djkanna Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 I'll play in an hour (or a few days, whenever my game is ready), and considering I lose the chess that ships with Windows, I doubt I'll do well. It is an interesting thing to see here, and I wish you the very best of luck. Quote
