rulerofzu Posted February 22, 2011 Posted February 22, 2011 Due to your reply you can kiss my backside and delete my account. Took two attempts to register due to a error about name length which was incorrect and then that error in your code. Unreliable, untested and you had the cheek to comment about Mccodes about their bugs. Quote
Kieran-R Posted March 4, 2011 Author Posted March 4, 2011 Sorry you feel that way RulerOfZu All known bugs have been sorted. A new SEO campaign to hopefully increase BBG's search engine ranking is under-way. + If you add your game to BBG, your game will get an extra listing in all major search engines. With your games keywords, description, and game URL all included. So if you add your game to BBG, it will probably help your game search engine wise! And as I said, BBG is doing all it can to increase its SEO ranking. Join Up :D Quote
Kieran-R Posted May 9, 2011 Author Posted May 9, 2011 Just done the last monthly reset, and from my calculations, Per 1,000 votes your game sends in, your game gets 250 new visitors sent to your game from BBG Web Gaming. (This is an average) BBG Web Gaming has been getting bigger, and and receiving more traffic every day (according to Google Analytics) So adding your site would still clearly be a great move to promote your game towards gamers who are actually interested in your game! a_bertrand Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Well, issue is that the best game received what? 34 in and 4 out in 10 days? So it's hardly a very visited top site. Also there is so many of those that I hardly see the benefit to join without talking about bugs... while calling page in.php: Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/bbg/public_html/essential/headers/inheader.php on line 6 Quote
Diesl Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Well, you need to start somewhere. Good that you're sticking with it Kieran-R. Good luck to you. Quote

When I posted my last post, that was when the monthly reset happened. I may he wring but I thought I said that in the post. When I done the reset, the top site had about 1.4k votes in, and about 400 out. You may still class the toplist as 'inactive' but believe me, the site is receiving a faily decent amount of traffic for the age of the site. About the bug, could you please tell me what link you clicked to receive this error? When you say, 'called it in .php' do you mean entering the URL? It would be greatly appreciated if you could explain to me more on this error. Cheers Quote
a_bertrand Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 The full url: http://bbgwebgaming.com/in.php?go=42 And a month reset the 10th? Odd, very odd I shall say, but anyhow, checking nearly a full days later I see only 10 more in... which would make about 300 in in a month and far the 1.4K VOTES which for me IN and Votes are 2 different things.... Also didn't say it was inactive, just stated that I don't see the same numbers as you do. BTW checked another site of yours: http://domainagingonline.com/ And the email at the bottom is... interesting. And a quote from your explanations: "What you end up with is a collection of domains that can yield 200-300 unique visitors each and every month directly from the search engines under the keywords you need. This is traffic you would otherwise have to pay a high pay-per-click price to receive! " [sARCASM ON]OOo gasp 200-300 unique visitors each months via search engines? Ooo what a dream... Indeed I need to hire you![sARCASM OFF] Really you think 200-300 unique visitors per months is great? Sorry but I would say those are very very small traffics and certainly will not give any advert revenue. Quote

When I goto other links with the same form of URL, the error does not appear. but ill definitely sort it soon. Also, if you don't believe that that's how much votes in.out, then that's fine. But the proof is in the pudding: http://bbgwebgaming.com/lastmonths.php About the other site you mentioned, whats with the sarcasm? This is a domain aging network which believe me - it works. 200-300 is little. It generates a lot more than that dependent on various factors (time the domain has been aging ect.). Dont ask me how the system works because I did not make the system. My partner in the domain aging network made it, and I am his partner - that's it. But I wouldn't be investing so much in these domains if it didn't make me a profit. I make 3x how much I invest in these domain EASY. Just takes time... How if you would like to question me further about my domain aging network, then I would be happy to answer your questions about it on PM. Stop taking the thread off topic. Quote
a_bertrand Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Sorry you are right, it was off topic and... a bit in the flaming area, my fault. Quote
Kieran-R Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 I have began recoding parts of the website. It has came to my attention that there were several bugs in the game control panel which I was not aware of. These have now been fixed, and everything should be good. Some small bugs are also notable in the game reviews. They will be sorted shortly. Add you game to BBG Web Gaming now! A recent advertising campain has just been completed, and the games near the top of the toplist have benefited greatly! Quote
Kieran-R Posted September 11, 2011 Author Posted September 11, 2011 BBG Web Gaming has undergone some big changes behind the scenes, and you should now have a much more enjoyable experience on BBG Web Gaming. More major updates coming soon to help build more user and game players interaction, and other updates. Furthermore, a new advertising campaign will be getting underway shortly with a decent amount of money being invested into. Quote
JordanD Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 For the record, Kieran-R sold BBG Web Gaming in October 2011 and then just now (January 2012), I bought it from the person who bought it from him. Either during the transfer from him to the second owner or at some point during the time that the second owner had it, some things went wrong with the site, but I am working on fixing them. I hope to be an active website owner and I plan to grow this site and work hard to make it successful for everyone involved and make it worthwhile for game owners to add their game along with the voting link on their site. If anyone has any questions about the current state of BBG Web Gaming or anything related to it, feel free to contact me. Quote
