It is less secure, but secureable just the same.

Not to mention, it's good for people to look into other engines as well, it's called broadening ones horizons ;)

Learn all kinds of things looking at others work.

Wow....

Reading you guys go on about security is funny, it really is.

Especially Dylan. He's pro.

Teach me.

Took the words out my mouth.

Dylan your that good you couldnt secure the cyberbank... you made it stop working and it still wasn't secure so before you sit here talking about something please walk the walk before you even attempt to talk to the talk.

@Joshua: Honestly whats the point? You have tried to go against mccodes so many times and failed already.

Lol @ this topic

OK... so if you hate mccodes so much why keep posting about them? This site is more then just mccodes, based around yes, but more to it as well.

@Dylan – really? Not sure what else to say to you...

SO is mccodes v2 getting patched again, but by Jordan? Just wondering, those who have already bought mccodes v2, would they get the new secured version for free or is it another buy?

the only draw back is any code or stuff you've done when buying the other patch will be lost when you install the new patch and then when they release another patch the same again... worth it huh

Not really, just look through the files and recode your current system while observing the repatched. it's what i tend to do when it's repatched. not that my version insecure, but you never know.

I think we should wait until the patched version and ask someone who has purchased it(Or get it for free as a client) to have a look at the code. It's optional. If it's clean, secured, 'not as many bugs' then I think people should stop making topic about MCC being so bad. Any I ain't sucking, but I've always like Mccodes since it's help me PHP and enjoyable making modification(If you don't know, I learn't PHP to make RPG & Mods, not taking things serious with it).

They would not need to do it all, however in theory since v2 is rather old they should. Anyway the people who need the patch would have done very little to the base. Anyone with a game already running should (once again in theory) have done it up themselves. The only ones that may fall out of that area are the ones that have added allot of free mods, and it’s not like they cannot be added again, something that’s worth doing for a more secure site . ;)

would of been easier to just dismiss v2 patching and go onto v3 a entire new system which they check for any bugs for months before releasing and give a 75% discount to v2 clients for the trouble.

I think we all know any discount would only be around 10%, no hope of anything near 75% lol

I remember seeing somewhere anyone who paid $300 for v2 would get a small discount, however my memory may be wrong. I will see about digging up the post.

Edit - Ignore me it was someone suggestion. :whistling:
