Jordan Palmer Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Hi there. Although many will say yes, I will say no. I cannot be 100% sure however there is no records of it being a valid copy of MCCodes and I think if it was MCCodes he's done a good job of hiding it ;p You might also wanna visit: An interview with Chedburn Quote

Djkanna Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 To my understanding MCC was created after people were pissed about Torn (City), so MCC emulated Torn. Quote
Jordan Palmer Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Equinox you may want to read my reply...I know it isn't possible... Quote
Dominion Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I think it went TC => php-games (mwg) => mccodes Who knows tho he could be looking on here for ideas :P Quote
Nickson Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 I'll tell the short story once more, mdshare can confirm this as he's also was a secretary in a past life on TornCity. Torncity came out in beta around 2003, while it was growing more and more people wanted someting simular but many couldn't make it. At that point Mono Country was made, through reverse engineering techniques. This resulted in a game that had the same theme and gameplay, later they decided to release that engine, hence MCC which means Mono Country Code. Poor quality of code is mainly the experience, proper time management and bad reverse engineering. End of story, TC isn't an engine, it's a hardcode game, also with bad quality code, at least in my days :) Quote
