MCC Market [New Idea]

I am developing a Mccodes Modification Market. The purpose of this marketplace is so that developers are able to have a place where they can join, upload their mods and sell their mods. It will include an automatic installation feature which allows the purchaser to download it straight away and leaving the hassle of contacting the developer.

I will release this new feature by the end of this week. All modifications will be quality checked as i do not want to advertise mods that are not worthy of their price.

Buyers will be benefited because they can download right away and allows buyers to talk with sellers for support.

Please give feedback :)

p.s This feature is for all versions of Mccodes and also templates. A 5-10% profit may be taken as to maintain a server space enough to hold the modifications and keep this new site running smoothly.

Can I ask a few questions?

 

Why should we trust you to maintain our modifactions?

How can you make something like this when you cannot code?

MCCodes are already planning something like this, Why would we use 3rdparty rather then MC?

Two things, George can code, but not php (very well) he can code things like C++ (which you cannot xD) and C++ can be used for webdevelopment, so he could use that ;) the other, Mc are planning alot.

Cpp/C/C#/OC coders get quite alot of money, and are in shortage right now. That and Facebook coding will rake you in the most money

No offence to anyone on this post but i wouldn't trust any of you with my scripts (nothing personal) nor would i even trust CB and Dabs without some kind of contact or agreement.

Maybe MCC should review the legal factors in a stand alone market script, personally i like the idea but i think it should vary between all different engines like the market script on here but more... just more really.

Jordan, Danny, George and Preston i don't mean to target you four but if others would of posted i would of said i wouldn't trust them also :P i have trust issues i guess lol

Actually the cronwerks system is standalone, I just post the mod descriptions in the forum and have a "Most Popular" tab.

The actual system is outside the forum, as you can see when you click to buy something and it takes you to the cronwerks main site.

Hmm well I would gain nothing from "stealing your scripts", I don't even run a game currently lol

If anything I would want your mods to sell a bunch so you would make/list more with me.

Actually the cronwerks system is standalone

not really true since you get the mail via the forum

if you go for a stand alone market (or mccodes does) you really need some kind of forum on it anyway for support or questions i think cronwerks is set up well in terms of there system anyway. thing is if you set up a market (one thing i think is wrong with cronwerks) do not stay so close to this "just mccodes" idea everything has a life span do not limit your site to theres just have an mccodes part for the site
