I got hacked

This guy decio hacked my site today I have no idea how he got in I have traced his ip address and the proxy he is using please ban these ip address I have more I will post later

If anyone out there can help me secure my site please leave a message here with what you can do for me and your price this is really a good thing my game was due to come out of beta testing soon now that I no there is a loop hole I need it fixed asap if anyone can help please mail me also I noticed that posting your web site in these forums is not a good idea so if any of you have your url posted may be a good idea to remove it

Instead off being a cry baby why not learn how too secure, All people do is post here, What make's you think were intertested? We've heard the same thing off the reset people "Ugh I got hacked" my answer is simple Then you shouldn't off opended the game When you open a game you're sure too get people trying too hack so before you open one get it secured.

 

We all know MCCodes isn't secure off the slightest so why did you use it? Why not use EzRPG or something that you know is more then likely secured?

First off Im not being a cry baby I have over 4 games online now this is the only one that is not ready yet I posted here to find who is selling a good mod to secure my game. Asking for help is a crime? lol Just like the other game I have online when you go to forums to ask for help someone always has something crazy to say I find it amusing. Well thanks to everyone that messaged me with ways of helping Im still looking for a good paid mod that will secure my site .......Regards D1

One: Shouldn't be in the free plugins board.

Two: Hire someone to do your security or learn yourself.

I agree I backup my game daily so nothing he dose can really hurt me anyway but it would be nice to have peace of mind

what scares me is my server hosts all of my games. I dont want something he do to this script to effect my others thanks for the info. distorted a mod cant secure your site you need to hire someone to edit your entire mccodes and remove all the bugs, glitches and secure the scripts.

As stated above CrimGame can help with your security..

There is a few patched for known exploits around the Forum (search comes in handy)

Do a Google search in the context of "PHP Security" should bring up a few tutorials, articles ect.

You could also ask in the PHP-Games Chat for advice (Chat link in the menu) ;)

for one thing, if he had any abilities, do you think he would keep making accounts here over and over just to laugh? And why would he claim to hack?

I mean, i dont see a hacker that has any talent coming to tell everyone on a game forum that they can hack. I mean, no real hacker would bother with mccodes. (Edit: Well, there might be some, but they most likely dont have enough knowledge to do anything else but hack mysql databases and exploit php,javascript, etc.

I See this many times with people. The main problem is you didnt think about hackers destroying your game, im not saying this is you fault but you should be aware of hackers online as we all are. Here what i think a game should be planed like.

When hosting and domain is sorted do this, Mccodes if your using it. =/

File Manager

Upload Mccodes

Create and eneter info in CONFIG.PHP

install your game.

(Back to) File manager.

Delete REGISTER.PHP & INSTALLER.PHP

Secure your login.php with.$IP = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];

Come onto MWG and look for security post or look at free mods that are secure.

Research on GOOGLE

Its what im doing right now, but i dont have a clue why $IP = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; secures your game

Never open a game when you know its secured fully. Ive gave my domain away because i need to learn this stuff and loads of stuff with PHP & MYSQL

@ Renkia - No game will be 100% secure, and as for a hacker with supreme knowledge, it will be a easy task to destory your game. Though securing your game makes his life harder, and prevents newbs from destorying your game, therefore reducing the chance of your game going down and increasing the chance of it staying up and being sucessful.

I still think adding to the security which people offer, you (generally) should rename tables in phpmyadmin etc so it's much harder to use vulnerbailities on your game against you as the hacker will have no idea what your tables are called, if it's unique compared to all other mccode games (or the same for any another engine).
