Dave Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 When you were thinking of creating a game were you thinking of the money? Or were you just doing it for a hobby? In my personal case it was so i could get better at my coding skills. Quote
Joel Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Re: Money or Hobby? :-o good point, first time I ever knew about Mccodes game engine I started creating a game for me and my friends and wasn't in it for the money only a hobby because I liked doing things like this, I'm still not in it for the money.... Its just a cool thing :-) Quote

a_bertrand Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Re: Money or Hobby? well, if I would run my game for money, I would have stopped since a long time or would have changed it to a monthly fee game as like that it certainly do not cover the time I invested on it. So let's say hobby :-D Quote

Cronus Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Re: Money or Hobby? Originally, a hobby. Creating my own game was something interesting and fun. Seeing what I could make and come up with when i had limited skills. Now that I can code any sort of mod I can think up, its more of both. Definitely not just for the money, I like seeing my users happy when I make something new. But, I do need SOME income, even if only a small amount. Quote
