Cypher In a somewhat sad note, the first thing I noticed on the main page, is the cascading colored text. I would expect a game like this to have a more overall interest across the page, but all I noticed right out was the text lists that go from white to a grey color as they go down. Now, when you register, it sends you an e-mail. Of course, you have to check your JUNK BOX if you are using hotmail at least, unsure of others. But, the e-mail's easy enough to understand, so go right on ahead and login to the game. Oh, well this is much better. Though almost the same idea, with a somewhat darket inner layout, and some nice touches, the inside of this game feels comfortable and not too cramped. Oh hey! Hurray, it actually tells us that we have skill points to assign! Does this mean... oh yes it does! CHOICE! :) After I assigned my skill points, which thankfully each skill tells you what it does, I decided to browse around a bit and get a more solid look at what this site's all about. For this site, I had to UNBLOCK popups, because it has at least one thing that opens in a demanded popup (The virtual console), of course I had no idea really what I was doing with the VC yet, so I can only comment on how it actually looks somewhat cool. I like how your computer software and hardware are both listed, and you have the ability to upgrade them/get new software. Along with that, the missions have a lot to do with your computer and software. Go figure that they actually function amazingly! After a rather large amount of time on the site, I think I can fully say that this is a pretty good game all around. Personally I will suggest that, unless you DISLIKE turnbased games, give a go of this one. It may very well wind up being on your list of things to do daily. I hope this helps, along with the other reviews I've done. Sincerely - Vorlen

Samurai Of Legend When I first saw the site, it looks very well put together, espescially for an MC Code game. Then, I asked my first question, "Where the heck is the register button?" After not finding it, I simply changed the URL to the register.php page (Remaining with the ref as ADTOLLCE. I signed in and, OH NO!! Look at that! It's all BLUE! :O Yes, that's right, they go from very well put together smoothly interchanging earthy colors, to blue scale. Some interesting notes is the fact that they got right into the theme, by changing the $ to a ¥ symbol, and in your first automated message from the admin, they actually use some decently designed grammar based on the concepts of the far east of old. Going back to the blue thing, after a minute I decided it doesn't actually look too bad, but they really should have kept to the login and register page layouts. Even the anti macro is themed! The image having the number in it has a theme to it involving the game, which as small as it is, is a nice touch. Right along with that idea, they customized the crimes, yet not the text in the gym... oh well. Once I went into the explore page, I was rather amazed at just how much they have in the game, most of which is customized in their theme to the game itself. EG. Rice Growing. Their newspaper is even nicely done up, though not as well as they could have, I'm sure this newspaper would satisfy any users needs, having links in it, and main story content. All in all: the game play's pretty good, just needs to have the layout changed to the one that is on the register and login pages. Recommendation - This one's really based on you, given that it IS mc code, and many people have many games in the same codes, but if you like a fairly decent theme, and good gameplay, this one is a good choice for you.

Re: Free Mafia game - Browser Game Much appreciated Scarlet and Md! Md sent me a list of the other sites to be checked out that're displayed. I'm about to post a review I just did for another game, then I'm working on a few more. This section will hopefully really help people to understand what they're choosing to get themselves into.

Re: New exploit found! I don't mean to rain on your parade, but the idea is that someone is MANUALLY running the cron... hence the hack/cheat/exploit. Any cron code can be used/run at any time. All the crontab does is curl the URL you told it to, the cron code itself doesn't automate itself, it's the crontab. My two cents

Definitely a good first impression! I signed in, to a nicely laid out game. The best part of my first 30 seconds in the game, was when I clicked on the "Game Guide" button, it opened in a new tab! How many games have we all played that you had to flip between the guide and the game itself? Not this one! Color scheme: One of the few games that has successfully pulled off white text (Relatively white text) on black background. Red accents, some red text even. Images are nice, to be totally honest in the first 10 minutes playing, my favorite image was probably the one in the "Hire" Section at the top, but hey, what can I say... I'm male. After some simple searching using my rather abundant amount of start-out turns. I had a decent enough bunch of units to go ahead and play around with some other features. NOTE: Thank God for that guide, I wouldn't have thought about the fact that my defensive guys don't COME with guns, I have to buy them for 'em. That and, the guide tells you how to keep your people happy, drugs and booze... hahaha. Gotta love the black market, right? I got a bit annoyed when the guide didn't tell me where to actually USE the booze and coke that I bought to keep my plebeians happy, however I've STILL not found where to use them.... though after some reading, I suspect that it's sort of a quantity of drugs/booze versus quantity of the unit that uses them. I guess time will only tell, however if that's the case... I'm not particularly keen on the happiness thing, it'll be time consuming for sure. I think out of all the games that I've reviewed for CE, this one took me the longest to actually finish my review, because I had to scurry through the site looking for that which I have not found (Stupid happiness drugs/booze), but regardless. Really cool game play otherwise. Attacking other users, collecting money from your units who work, and having your other units make THEM happy by defending them. After careful consideration, I would recommend this game for a try, but not something that you want to obligate yourself to, WHY? Well, here's why... Admin is GROUCHY: Sort of sarcastic, eh? Anyways, give it a try, though make sure to pay close attention to what you're doing, something small can affect many other things in this game. Not for those who like a simple, "Click, Click, Boom" sort of game... this requires an attention span.

The first thing I noticed about this game, is that the text is rather small, especially the links at the top for Login, Register etc. During registration, the text size is a bit of an issue, however it is still legible at the very least. I really liked the simplicity of the registration e-mail. Seriously, a lot of games have some long winded e-mail, this one just says you registered with this e-mail, here's your activation number, go to the link/game to activate. Boom. Done. Easy to understand, definitely a nice touch. The layout seems to be fairly attractive at the opening, but once in the game, it's mostly black, with a sort of greyish text. At the same time, the placement of everything IN the layout that you see on the page, is really simple, but with a sort of class to it. Everything is easy to find, the newbies button is something I've not seen anywhere else, which is really nice to see who else is new, which could help start a new alliance of sorts with people who are all new to the game itself. When I clicked the "Guides" button, it's actually a contact form for the guides, which is fairly different. I suspect the site would be a little easier to comprehend what to do with a pre-written guide, however at the same time, interaction with an actual person who plays and can make GOOD recommendations is quite nice. In the end, the gameplay is alright, but you really have to dig around to figure out what to do unless you contact a guide. The layout is fairly simple, which is both good and bad. The color scheme could do with a change, and font size should definitely be increased. Verdict: If you're visually impaired, DON'T BOTHER! If you're not visually impaired, then it may be worth a look, but it'll take some serious getting used to, and could cause some frustration. NOTE: If you ARE going to play, I suggest you contact a guide ASAP, to get an idea of what to do to start out. The rest is feeling it out and working your way through the game as per usual. All in all, not the greatest, a lot of room for improvement.

Re: Pimpin Down Under - Browser Game Thank you both for the kind remarks! The credits are certainly nice! I'll be doing some more reviews after taking some time to play the other games in the list. :)

Well developed game, lots to do within. A main note to be had is that if you're one to use SMS to donate, you had better live in Australia. Which isn't a big issue, as SMS isn't necessarily a huge thing. I like the appearance quite a bit, there's nothing that isn't appealing about the game, the layout of the primary 'selection board' for which games/rounds you can play in is even attractive. It's a pleasant change from other round based games when you see each game/round have an identifying 'Hoe', which is a minor detail, but nonetheless an amusing one. For an example, if anyone else plays the game, when I say I play "Shannyn" they'll know that I mean to say the beginner rounds, more or less the learner section. Learning to play is fairly simple from what I've seen, as the layout lets you see almost every action that you can perform right from the main spot in the round. Personally, I recommend this game to those who like the theme, and those that like round based games.

Re: $15 drop down explore Whether or not you made it yourself, is not quite what they're talking about. They're saying that people can get a 2 minute tutorial on how to do it for free, and thus it's not worth your time or theirs to try and get them to pay for it. My apologies if I sounded rude. Ciao

Re: proof of creation YG, the badge is for a membergroup, if then MD restricts the NEW TOPIC ability to ONLY that membergroup. That means that the users of the badge will be able to post new topics, while the normal users can only reply. In turn, sure they can reply with codes, but that's spam is it not? That's where the moderators (Whomever they are) come in, and delete that stuff. :) Hope that cleared up my thoughts

Re: proof of creation I like the idea of making sure that something is genuine. However, how to do it may be more difficult. There are a few things that could be done, like having the Mod Creators badge, so that people that CE recognizes as honest coders will be able to post new topics, while others can reply to them. That may help, but it'd be a lot more work for CE I suspect. :(

Re: Delete Seriously with an attitude like that I dont know how you can expect people to help you...or intend to run a game... Beat me to the punch line Scarlet! P.S. In any game I've ever done, Bigint 20 was sufficient... What number would 92 get? Seriously that's massive, and pointless...

Re: Texas Hold 'Em Mod Aww that sucks... Seany, [email protected] contact me when you get a minute. Got something to talk to you about. :D

Re: Item Exchange Mod - :D Thanks a lot to both of you!

Well, this is the first mod I've sold to more than one person in over a year! Here it is... Item Exchange Mod What it is, simply, is a market where a user can put their item on, and other users bid on it.... you're probably thinking "Auction's been done..." Well, this is different, VERY different. Users can bid up to 2 items from their inventory, as well as any money and crystals that they have on-hand. When a bid is made, the owner of the item being bid upon, will receive an event reminding them that they can view the bids on any of their items in the bidview.php page. Now, I don't have a copy of this mod up, but the person who came up with the idea, whom I built it for, does. http://deadlyblood.com/itemexchange.php You're more than welcome to check it out there. If you don't feel like registering, I'm going to try and resize some of my screenies so that you can see the images here. There is, in fact, a bonus! The bonus is that you can expand this mod with relative ease... I put a time column in with the sql tables, so that you can simply write a cron that does everything that is required to limit the amount of time something can remain on the market. The price, is $50 USD. I hope that you find this fair, given the amount of time that went into the mod itself. ALSO: All mods that I do, come with a guarantee that if in fact there are ANY issues/bugs with original coding, I will come and fix it for you! I will also send you updates if there are any issues found elsewhere, so that you know that you always have the best version of the mod. Ciao for now all, contact me about the mod if you're interested.

Re: [$10] Pub Mod Sounds good to me, I like the ideas in it, simple, yet amusing for users :D

Re: ???! Thanks Datura, I'll get to working with Genki... it's a bit confusing because I can't read a damned thing, but the same was for coding before so I'll pick it up :)

Re: Coding Hours. When I worked on NarcoticWars, I did a good 18-36 hours straight at a time, did that for a good month and a half. But once I got done that dropped down to about 12 a day. After I sold NarcoticWars, I wound up between 6 and 8 and kept there 'till I started work on KnP. While working on KnP, I did something round 12 again and since KnP's sale... well we'll just say that I don't have the required life situation to work much at all... :P

Re: What country would you live in... I've thought about moving to australia, I'd love to hear your opinion on that, especially as compared to new zealand. I know next to nothing about the governments in both countries... Want to move to Australia with me and we'll be roommates? :D Ironically, I'm not kidding.

Re: ???! I'd like to learn, any recommendations how I could go about that?

Re: Why you code? Originally, it was a passion. I saw something, had a partner (co-owner) whom was good at supplying me with ideas and commands that I needed to build (with my input). However, at this point, I am ready to quit. I've not found someone who's able to be online and "Tank it" with me and work as hard as possible to get it all set-up and "pimped out". That, and I feel that I'm going to be very successful with my upcoming business venture, a restaurant that I'm opening with two of my adult friends. (Not to shift topic, if you want any info on it, I'll be one the primary chef at the second store in a couple years when it's out. First store I'll be head coordinator and one of the lead cooks. contact me for info :) ) Anyways, back to the topic. I'm not able to maintain interest, mostly because I get harassed for help without being paid. Got screwed too many times, so in turn I have a high skepticism of everyone else. Actually. I am 99% sure I'm going to quit coding. :\
