I see a couple things that may need to be touched up; $cnt=mysql_query("SELECT userid FROM users",$c); That I dont see anywhere else just the initial query. And just fetching the gang from the users table is only going to return the gang id as default unless you modified your users table to update the gang column to show the gang name. For example if im in that list and am in gang id 18 it will show 18 instead of my gang name. The gang id would only be handy if you were providing a link to the gang page.

Downtime is downtime whether its ddos or scheduled maintanance. But lets say someone doesnt like me like anonymous could you protect me or get the server back up in a timely manner? This is just a standard question that most people will want answers to im not doubting your skills but its good to post these things when selling something ;)

You also gotta stay one step ahead of them as well and make sure they dont bypass the check by using non case sensitive. I forgot what its called and im pretty dure you can do it so maybe someone here can shed some light on it but say you want to filter "badword" I may be able to do BADWORD or Badword and it may pass the check since I used capitolization. Again I may be wrong but maybe look into it.

If microsoft did 1 thing right its their tracking options in their office suite. It will show what user did one but only if they turned on tracking. So maybe these guys should take some notes and Implement something like that or create a legend of who is who and who worked on it

  You may want to take a gander at his original post but I do agree with you just not in his case, that explains it right there.   You are attempting to buy some tables off people so this statement doesnt line up. Also you claim you dont want to be different. So let me get this straight, you want to buy db info off people cause you dont care about being different but you are aiming to go places no other game has gone before? If people want to play one game that has a submachine gun why should they pick your game over the one the has 200+ online users at any given time? Especially if your using the "exact same" content as that game. Why should I go donate there to build my stats when im already in the HOF somewhere else and waste my money? Let me guess, your going to have crimes, jail, hospital, and a street search right? Im not dissing those features in a game nor am I dissing your game at all but see I pretty much predicted your game. Maybe rethink your approach, I would guarantee your game would be that much better, more unique, and a bit of personal touch, plus you will probably be a lot more proud of a game that YOU thought of and nit someone else.

Well im pretty sure my question I asked you was a pretty good one since it doesnt seem like you created a new db user or added your existing user to control that db. So if you took the time to read "ALL" comments posted to help you the problem could have been solved instead of replying to the negative comments people give you knowing it will get your knickers in a bunch

Did you set up a user to access that database or did you just start a new database without giving a user access to it?

If your just changing a few of the items I would go with what seker stated, but if your changing a lot of stuff go with what silverstar showed and create a a switch. Going based of what you showed sekers idea is better so you can do something like if ($ir['location'] == 1) { $link="<a href='exploreMIA.php'>Explore</a>"; }else if { Blah blah keep on keepin on with this format Then just print $link or whatever you wish to call it where you wish to place it

I just want to talk about something that just really made me mad about the syncro diving that just happened. Yeah, China did really well ill give them that but the US got shafted on a couple of great dives. The judges gave better scores to the Canadians who really sucked than the Italians. Those judges just really grind my gears ugh, smh...

I was not aware of an infinite disk drive, infinite RAM, or infinite CPU. Your sharing server resources with other renters which means your robbing them of resources if yours requires more and in that same token lets say google was on your same server how fast do you think your pages would load up? Its been quite some time since ive been in networking or data communications but lets think of this like a home network and your router is your server, you have 30ul/15dl and you have have 5 comps running from the same router. You will have unlimited upload and download but its still only unlimited UPTO the 30/15, but if your other computers are on netflix maybe streaming a movie your download speed is now drastically lower so you only have unlimited to what ever is readily available.

If your a hardcore DC fan then I doubt these new movies that Christopher Nolan is making are for you cause hes not following the "traditional" storyline of the comics. He actually makes Batman more of a rogue/vigilante crime fighter and not really a super hero. This is what really impresses me in the movies. He kinda gives it a more "current" edge to all the charactors and gives them more of a IDGAF attitude.

You know the batman franchise has come along way since Michael Keaton was batman. It still aint no Adam West or nothin but a lot better than before. Its just great how it shows the much darker side of batman instead of you average tight wearing superhero. I myself am not a DC fan more of a marvel kinda guy but I think the Dark Night trilogy is doing pretty good so far and im pretty excited about the 3rd movie, hell im even excited to see the new Superman haha

Whatt!!!! did you see the movie, of course it had a plot? What was Batman's objective in the movie. The beauty of the movie is that it really had nothing to do with Batman but Bane, or was it about Bane? Dun-Dun-Dunnn. See I just thickened the plot already

I think that can go with any computer componant whether it be memory, processor, or MB.   This is very true. Since pretty much every manufacturer has serveral different componants they build varying in what it can and can not do very well. Its been a while since ive been into computers but back in the day if you wanted to game Intel was not the way to go you wanted AMD as for video cards it was nVidea and sound was turtle beach, but if you just wanted a normal everyday pc then you wanted the other guys or it was a waste of money since you would not even be using the full potential of your power. I dont game anymore so I go with mac myself and swear by it. Ive had my macbook before the pros came out and still running almost as good as the day it came in the mail and it was refurb'd. If I was rocking a pc then i'd probably be on my 3rd one by now so I got my moneys worth easy out of it. So now heres a question, how many computers have you guys been through in the last 6 years or baselined your computer, or had to even upgrade something because it couldnt handle the new software or even the newest version of windows?

Im not doubting your computer but it can have something to do with your processes and processor speed. And can also do with the discs itself, or it can even be the file format you are using. I used to use Nero way back when but havent actually burned anything recently and I never had syncing issues.

Things may have changed but last I heard he wasnt hosting anymore but maybe he started back up again
