*Cough* No good content writers *Cough* - I guess we don't really share our work, so it's hard to judge how good a content writer is ;) @Lithium, thanks :) @Dreamcoder - Thanks as well.
-
Aha thanks Lithium ;) - Also a pretty good mod here.
-
I think he means, he just finished the tutorial section for HTML on W3 Schools ;)
-
I'm a 'story writer' ;) - But all the work i do are for games, so i can't exactly post any of the work up for free, so i was just wondering how am i meant to get my name on the list? Do i have to go to my previous clients, and ask them to recommend me or...? *Humour* I see this list in 1-2 years time, being seen as the big thing - So people will refer to it with respect, and call it "The List", and view it as it's something massive O.o *humour*. ;)
-
Thanks Danger Boy. W3 Theory Peter, the price was decided after i wrote what the buyer wanted ;) - If the buyer is happy to pay, than i'm not sure how it could not be worth it - A piece is worth what the buyer is ready to pay. There is no right price or wrong price :)
-
Depends really on the buyer, and how much he feels the piece is worth - So for example some pay $20 for 5 lines whilst some pay $36 for a page, so depends ;)
-
.... If you want it adapted to fit a different theme, i can adapt it for you ;) - Let me know if anyones interested.

Illusions, i know where you're coming from, but i guess the way content writing goes is, if a legit client approaches you, he tells you what he needs, you get it done show it to him and get the money. However, in the circumstances, that a client asks for something, and then says he/she dosen't need it (not specifically targetting Xecho just saying generally) then it's highly unlikley someone else is going to buy it because first of all it won't fit his game or he wants you to show him it before getting it, which obviously you can't do. That been said, if someone i can trust from MWG, wants to buy it, i can show them a bit of it and then hopefully they'll like and buy the full storyline. Just to confirm this is the main storyline, and it's about a page long to go inside the game. Thank you and hope i find a buyer soon ;)

Thank you Ecko, but i guess a client can change his mind, so it's ok. Me & him have sorted it out, so i guess we'll just leave it at that.

Anyone at all?

Hello everyone, first of all i would like to apologise for not being able to reply to the few people that messaged me about content writing, as i was on holiday in Dubai and the hotel web-filter blocked nearly all sites including MWG. Well i'm selling a Vampire Storyline, originally made for Xecho, however, later on Xecho and his partner, decided they don't need it anymore, as they are working on a different project (or something like that). Anyway, i don't know how this is going to work, as i can't really show you the whole storyline, but i guess we'll find a way round it ;) if you're interested you can contact me via Messenger: [email protected] or you can send me a message via MWG. Thanks.

Oki doki, i've added you on MSN

Thank you very much Xecho. Appreciate the positive comments ;)

Hello again so i'm back to MWG after a long time, and thought might as well ask around if anyone needs any content writing done. Previously for other clients i've done things like, Writing an introduction for a game (Both small and main intro), Quests and just some general stuff like a full guide explaining different features of the game, but just post below with what you need doing and i will let you know whether i can do it or not. Examples - Well i can't really give examples, but i could ask a recent client whether or not he'll let me post up some work i did for him, as that work will be going public anyway when he releases the game, but i will have to get his permission for that, let me know if anyone wants examples. Anyway just thought i'd let people know, i'm avalaible for content writing Thank you & have a good day.

BioHazard i think you're thinking of the wrong person mate ;) More of a content writer :P - Anyway never mind thanks for the welcome :)

Hey MWG, it's me Redex and i'm back after a long break. I see some things have radically changed since i last visited, but have there been any other changes? If so let me know, and i hope to get in touch and get to know both new and old faces around the MWG community again. Hope to hear from everyone soon ;)

Looking good, Rasheed. Keep up the good work.

Well it's always interesting to see and understand, why games fail, so when you do start your own game, you're aware of them reasons, so you can avoid them and decrease the chance of your game failing. Even if it does, you can add another list to your point, and keep developing it to the point where you know some key points, which you can avoid to make sure your game has the best chances of becoming a sucess.
-
That's great, atleast you went off, and decided to learn for yourself, rather than get somebody else to make it for you. Good stuff, keep it up.

Sites looking good. Now you have a more attractive interface opposed to the old one you had so it's all good :). I like the fact that, when you click on the developers name when downloading a free modification, it takes you to there profile page on Makewebgames, so you can find out a little bit more about the user. Must say don't prefer the login fields to be at the bottom, but that's just my opinion. Overall a nice improvement from the previous website, and hence i feel it should attract more customers.

The big deal is, if you have a script which has been copied from somewhere else, or which is been used somewhere else then it's not unique is it? If it's not unique, then you got to think, they're are many RPG's on the internet, so why would someone go from playing another RPG daily to your RPG. Let's say for a second, you somehow manage to get users, but even then it's not like they're just going to stay on your game and not visit anybody elses game, so that day when they visit another game and look at it's uniqueness and a gameplay and theme which they enjoy then they're activity on yout game is going to decrease and gradually the time will come when they won't play your game anymore. On the other hand, if you have a script, you don't want it being used on other games do you? So for example you make a script, and someone else starts using it, your going to try and inform the host and take they're game down aren't you because you got some solid reasons why it should be taken down. Just my 2 cents, on this, so apologies if i sounded a bit harsh, but it's the truth, and truth hurts, but that's what will take you further in life and make you a sucess. Living under a shadow can only get you so far in life, and that's what i believe, everybody has to learn to live they're life they're own way as you need to provide something somebody else can't or what's the point, unless you can provide the same skill in a better way.

Pretty awesome work theere Lillith. No wonder that other game tried to sue you for copying they're graphics, but yah back on topic nice detail and good quality designs.
-
Nice idea, good luck with the mod ;)

Well if it's like that then, i may have to agree with you ;)
