People can put down the game all they want but in the end Torn City was a Huge Success. Yes its mainly because its one of the first games of that type... I also heard from some where that chedburn already had plenty of cash before he even made that game....so im sure the game had a nice advertising budget.... I have personally never played the game myself, mainly because there is no chance of getting to the top when competing against players that have been there for several years... I continue to work on my game daily because I want my game to be a big competitor in the business. I even have several players from Torn...lol...i have an account named after my game that I advertise every now and then on Torn....eh ched wont miss em....lol As for my opinion about the game....not a bad game but no chance for new players to reach top...

hmm about the paid mod issue...I believe you guys are right about simply selling the files.   But if he sold the site as a whole(domain,host,files,license) would he not have the right to sell ?...   I don't think its right to sell x amount of copies of simply the files of the game though...

I want to start by saying I do not own the images to the layout...I was given an image and sliced it up to create the layout. These games do not keep track of player high scores. 200+ games i believe :) I do not take credit for any of the Flash games. Also i did not create the Pagination function. It was free on the web. Hey, Well I coded a Layout from scratch for MyGunWars from an image he provided of the layout he wanted. (did a decent job i believe) It was my first template that I coded from scratch so I was eager to show it off... One very major mistake I made was not protecting my CSS folder and someone stole the css (LEARNED A VALUABLE LESSON) That layout was going to be part of my portfolio but I removed it. I made it for free for MyGunWars to test my skills. That layout is compatible in all 4 major browsers.   Your correct....if I could do then what I can do now i would have saved a about 200$ from both the layouts...lol..they did do the design and html/css   As im new to the business im not sure how pricing would be ?..it would need to be fair for both of us :)   Thanks for the Questions guys :)

Hello, I have a lot of spare time and I am pretty decent around the mccodes system. I can create features from scratch if you need. My skills are limiited to HTML,PHP,MYSQL and CSS. I do not have any experience with javascript or ajax. I also cannot create graphics. I can put a template together using CSS and images provided though. I own Thugbattle.com..I started the game from a copy of mccode v2 and have built it into a decent game. I do all my own work on my game. I did not buy the mod...i would guess that those that purchased mods from seanybob might be upset seeing as he released them all for free..the one i bought was the two-player games that he did not release for free...lol

i would suggest creating a Universal-Market. Instead of a market for points, and a market for items, and a market for this and that, just merge all the markets together...So a player could post points, items, ect on the same market... just a thought ;)

Ah i missed the post....lol....i was happy to find a mod (that I was close to buying for 150$ at one time) for free....figured i would share this with the community :)
