4. To be honest I don't like it, it's just not as good as NCIS lol it's the same with CSI the Miami version isn't as good as the original version now the only one Tv series I like better than it's parent Tv show would be Law & Order: Special Victims Unit :)
5. Frasier As you may or may not know Frasier was a spin off of Cheers and now focuses on Frasier Crane's life after his return to Seattle from Boston (Cheers Location) Psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane (Grammer) returns to his hometown of Seattle, Washington, following the break up of his marriage and his life in Boston (which was covered in the series Cheers). His plans for his new life as a bachelor are complicated when he is obliged to take in his father, ex-police officer Martin Crane (Mahoney), who had to retire and is unable to live by himself owing to an injury caused by being shot in the line of duty. Frasier and Martin are joined by Daphne Moon (Leeves), Martin's eccentric English live-in physical therapist and caretaker, and Martin's dog Eddie (Moose). A frequent visitor to their apartment is Frasier's effete younger brother Niles (Pierce), a fellow psychiatrist. Niles' infatuation with and eventual love for Daphne, (feelings which he does not confess to her openly until the final episode of the seventh season) form a complex story arc that spans the entire series. Frasier hosts a popular radio talk show on KACL 780AM (named to honor the show's creators, Angell, Casey, and Lee). His producer is Roz Doyle (Gilpin), a woman with a very active romantic life who, while decidedly different from Frasier in taste and temperament, nevertheless becomes a very close friend over the course of the series. Frasier and his brother are also frequent customers of the local coffee shop, Café Nervosa, the scene of - and starting point for - the series many comic adventures. Numerous running jokes and themes develop throughout the series. Chief among them are the class and familial conflicts among Frasier, Niles and Martin. The two sons, who possess fine tastes, intellectual interests and rather high opinions of themselves, frequently clash with their blue-collar, down-to-earth father. A running theme, particularly in the early seasons, is Frasier's and Martin's difficulty in reaching an accommodation with each other and in sharing an apartment. Despite being similar in personality, interests and sensibilities, the relationship between Frasier and Niles is no less turbulent. They have an intense sibling rivalry and their jealousy of each other and petty attempts at one-upmanship — which frequently result in chaos — drive many of the plots. Frasier is also seen at times to be more able than Niles to adapt — even if only with reluctance — to situations where he needs to be less pretentious and more practical. Other storylines include the breakdown of Niles' marriage to the never-seen Maris, Frasier's search for love in his own life, and the various attempts of the two brothers to gain acceptance into Seattle's cultural elite. Structurally, many episodes center around misunderstandings or elaborate lies which multiple characters are forced to "play along" with, in order to conceal the truth. Frasier also featured many "once-a-year" plot devices, such as an appearance by Frasier's ex-wife Lilith (Bebe Neuwirth) and son Frederick. Season finales sometimes took the form of a "two part" special that was concluded as the season premiere the following season. 6. Chicago Hope: The show stars Mandy Patinkin as Dr. Jeffrey Geiger, a hot shot surgeon with emotional issues stemming from the psychiatric condition of his wife (Kim Greist) who drowned their infant son. Adam Arkin plays Patinkin's colleague and best friend. Peter MacNicol and Hector Elizondo feature as the house counsel and director of medicine, respectively. Christine Lahti joined in the second season as a talented cardiac surgeon with a feminist chip on her shoulder who vies with Geiger for the chief of surgery position. [source = Wikipedia] This was a Tv show I've only just stumbled across despite it's final episode in 2000, at first it seemed like ER all over again I didn't really like ER but this show seemed to have the fun, exciting, dramatic storylines that in my opinion ER just didn't have, it also held many stars such as Mark Harmon - NCIS, St Elsewhere Adam Arkin - The West Wing, Law And Order Mandy Patinkin - Criminal Minds, Simpsons :P Rocky Carroll - NCIS, The West Wing, Law And Order Lauren Holly - NCIS, All My Children Chicago Hope at International Movie Database Chicago Hope at Wikipedia
7. I agree, NCIS is a top notch show :) Allthough I liked Mark Harmon in Chicago Hope too :)
8. Not a big fan on things like this but I may just watch it I have a tendency to like things with Lou Diamond Phillips in. :P
9. NCIS: NCIS has recently celebrated their 150th episode "fleshand blood", and now Seven years later NCIS ratings are better than ever and still going strong. NCIS follows a fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team (MCRT) special agents headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. It is described by the actors and producers (on special features on DVD releases in the United States) as being distinguished by its comedic elements, ensemble acting and character-driven plots. NCIS is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy, which includes the United States Marine Corps. NCIS investigates all major criminal offenses (felonies)—crimes punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice by confinement of more than one year—within the Department of the Navy. The MCRT is frequently assigned to high profile cases such as the death of the U.S. president's military aide, a bomb situation on a U.S. Navy warship, the death of a celebrity on a reality show set on a USMC base, terrorist threats, and kidnappings. The MCRT is led by Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Gibbs’s team is composed of Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Probationary Special Agent (formerly Mossad liaison officer) Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), who replaced Caitlin "Kate" Todd (Sasha Alexander) when she was shot by Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) at the end of season two. Ari was then killed by his half-sister Ziva at the beginning of season three. The team is assisted in their investigations by Chief Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), Medical Assistant Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), and Forensic Specialist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette). It has been revealed through flashbacks that the 'original' head of the MCRT was Special Agent Mike Franks, who headed the unit when it was part of NIS. He recruited Gibbs shortly after Gibbs' retirement from the Marine Corps, eventually retiring himself some years later. After Franks departure, Gibbs recruited DiNozzo from the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Section. The two were briefly joined by Vivian Blackadder, whom Gibbs recruited from the FBI. In the second part of the NCIS pilot, Blackadder allowed her emotions to nearly derail an anti-terror operation in Spain. Gibbs is noticeably disappointed, Blackadder is not present in the series' first regular episode. McGee first appears as a Field Agent assigned to the Norfolk Field Office. He uses his computer skills to aid the MCRT in subsequent investigations through the rest of the first season, until he is officially promoted with his own desk at the Navy Yard in the beginning of the second season. NCIS is currently led by Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll). The first director seen in the series, Thomas Morrow (Alan Dale), left after being promoted to Deputy Director of DHS. Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) was appointed director after Morrow; she was killed in a shootout at the end of the fifth season, thus making Vance the director of the whole organization. 13. I started with lite which didn't actually have an installer at the time (It does now) and I managed to install it with the help of the manual :) Even if you cannot install your own game there is actually videos all over showing how to install it, search Youtube for 'How to install Mc Codes' you're bound to get some results :)
14. Zero: Last time I was on (before I came back *obvious -.-*) it was on :D and I also edited my post if hadn't noticed :P 8o
15. [..]Buggy Is that your pet name for him Zero? :P
16. If I remember correctly he want's all of it so why define all of the table when (*) is easier and quicker??
17. I've been using this for a little while now since I was shown it, and I must say it's very sleek and easy to work with.. What more is needed?!? Well done Alain :) DJK
18. I like(z) it too :P but I don't use it that much. To me using sprintf() on queries is easier on the eyes :/ (some disagree) *Back to sleep*
19. AlabamaHit: Printf() where and how you've used it is unneeded and ereg() has been deprecated. printf('The max amount you can borrow is $'.number_format($amount_left).' '); printf('You currently have a loan of $'.number_format($ir['loan']).' '); printf('<form action="loanshark.php?action=borrow" method="post">'); printf('Amount: <input type="text" value="'.$amount_left.'" name="borrowed" /> '); printf('<input type="submit" value="Borrow" />'); printf('</form>'); ^ ^ Unneeded :)
20. <?php // Remove this function PDChange() { global $ir,$db,$userid; echo "<h3>Personal Details Change</h3>"; $pd=$db->query("SELECT * FROM pdetails WHERE userid=$userid"); $p=$db->fetch_row($pd); printf("<form action='prefs.php?act=PDChange2' method='post'> <center><table></center> <tr> <td align='center' valign='left'> <div style='text-align: left;'> First Name:</td> <td><input type='text' name='fistname' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Last Name:</td> <td><input type='text' name='lastname' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Age:</td> <td><input type='text' name='age' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Aim Of The Game:</td> <td><input type='text' name='aog' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Msn:</td> <td><input type='text' name='msn' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Aim:</td> <td><input type='text' name='aim' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Aol:</td> <td><input type='text' name='aol' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Yahoo:</td> <td><input type='text' name='yahoo' value='%s' /></td></tr><tr> <td>Personal Details:</td> <td><select name='pdetails' type='dropdown'> <option value='ON'>On <option value='OFF'>Off</select> <input type='submit' value='Update' /></form></td></div></tr></table>", htmlspecialchars($p['first']), htmlspecialchars($p['last']), $p['age'], htmlspecialchars($p['aog']), htmlspecialchars($p['msn']), htmlspecialchars($p['aim']), htmlspecialchars($p['aol']), htmlspecialchars($p['yahoo'])); } function PDChange2() { global $db,$userid; $pd=$db->query("SELECT * FROM pdetails WHERE userid=$userid"); $p=$db->fetch_row($pd); $db->query(sprintf("UPDATE pdetails SET first='%s', last='%s', age='%s', aog='%s', msn='%s', aim='%s', aol='%s', yahoo='%s', personal='%s' WHERE( userid=%u)", strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['fistname'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['lastname'])), abs(@intval($_POST['age'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['aog'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['msn'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['aim'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['aol'])), strip_tags($db->escape($_POST['yahoo'])), $_POST['pdetails'], $userid)); echo "Personal Details Changed!"; } That should work (Djkanna's tired and hope it works) I used printf() to on the form for the fun of it you could use echo(sprintf()) but hey that's your choice.
21. Nice work Wrx, well done +1 Edit: Just realised there is no +1 no more. Oh well, well done :)
22. Don't worry we all have those days too ("Idiocy hit me for a day") -- Some more than others (Djkanna for example :P)
23. I agree with no-one, makes my life easier. But yeah stolen codes, free host, free domain = Failure(from the beginning). People using copy and paste hacks, hey let them just imagine their faces when it comes back to haunt them :) When are people going to wake up and smell the Coffee(for haterz, Tea) what Cablebox said "Business is not about making things fair". Yeah sure their game is better than CrimGame and Deadly Country, you can easily exploit it for quick hard -ingame- cash (Amongst other things).. The only people that will really that game is the Ej.am community and maybe a few of the owner's friends. So all in all it won't effect us so why care.?? Sure they may be making a quick buck(pound, euro whatever) while the one's that work hard on their game earn squat. But in the long run your game's going to last a lot longer :)
24. Yup "Returns directory name component of path" :) http://php.net/manual/en/function.dirname.php
