Looks good, maybe add the ability to sign up using social media? This way people can simply click a few buttons and have access to your site.. and you get way to much of their personal data.

I believe your right as well. I don't have time to read into what licence the original creator released the theme under but I wouldn't imagine they would allow resale of their work. Can you verify you have resale rights for this particular piece of work?

I think he means as in people posting random content and back links in random topics and considering there not registered they could just swap their IP and get around the ban and the continue to post the links or malicious content.

After seeing some of the replies I can see there is a good amount of interest in this... With the artist side of it I may submit a few custom illustrated items when the system is up. Good luck

Totally not a stolen idea ;) The whole thing is relatively easy and I created the basic system in under 2 hours.. It's not really a lengthy mod.

I've done this with PHPBB but never looked at trying to do it with SMF... I'll look into it and see if I can dig anything up.

Coding PHP without Apache and PHP is a bit of a challange. Set yourself up a localhost using something like [lmgtfy]WAMP[/lmgtfy].

That is off course another method to stop spamming (: Set a session or cookie in the users browser specifying what time they sent the last message then make sure it's been x amount of time since they did that.. Relatively simple to write.

It's still a huge issue... Bots can automatically login and then perform tasks such as spamming the hell out of this contact us form. Just because you have to login doesn't mean it's bot protected. A scary amount of captcha systems can also be bypassed.

You could simply integrate another bigger forum software inside of the engine and then inside your template. There are so many class's that make the task very easy!

I can see one major flaw in this idea? The fact that its going to make the "Mccode" style of gaming even more generic from site to site if each game is obtaining a item list from someone such as yourself? Unless you were to offer all lists were unique or something similar? I also don't think many people would purchase a list.. Obviously depending on pricing but it doesn't take that long to make an item list of say 100 items and then you would know those 100 items were set towards your game genre, style and most importantly economy.

Just thought I'd like to say.. You're c# tutorials are not completely ignored.. I've been reading through them and plan to check them out when I can get c# visual basics to install properly.. I've got some issues with the .NET config on my machine for some reason. So keep the c# tutorials coming along for me at least. :)
