Uridium Posted Thursday at 09:23 AM Posted Thursday at 09:23 AM Im currently working on a mccodes update for the installer It allows the user to create a folder so they can keep a file safe.. how this works is the user fills in all the info from the installer and gives a name for the folder where they want the installer to go to (keep safe) That folder is then created and the installer.php and index.php file are now inserted into that folder (THIS PART WORKS) After re-running the installer I left the FOLDER NAME as it was before thinking it would just overwrite the name and contents but that didnt work So my question is.. Is there a way were I can just keep adding to the same folder without causing an error OR Is there a way that PHP can bring up the name of the LAST FOLDER created only the ONE folder not the whole root. I was thinking of trying to find the folder by date and time seeing as it would be the newest on the server.. and that it would DELETE that folder and create a new one with a new FOLDER name and contents Quote
gamble Posted Thursday at 11:52 AM Posted Thursday at 11:52 AM Can't you just do file_put_contents() on the files you're overwriting https://www.php.net/manual/en/function.file-put-contents.php Quote
