A password protect page mod.

Well Ghetto was offering to sell it;

I did not think it is worth the money, more of a 'free' mod, so here goes;

Although this dose the same. Mine is completely different and more advanced. You can only have one user/pass mine you can create as many user/pass's you want for different users. for example:

Also uses MD5 even tho MD5 isn't that good its still better then nothing. And has a logout feature:

This is why I'm selling it. Because its not a 10 line code witch is easy to bypass.

Get your vocabulary right ;)

Any and Every login page is possible to SQL inject, it is just a matter of time and difficulty. I would like to see your code and compare it, see wether it is a big difference or not. I doubt it, but afterall a free mod is still a mod ;)

I modified mine to go to a seperate page, then after they type in the password, and login, it brings them to another page warning them about proceding to the staff panel...

try to get away from $_POST

use $_GET instead.

as well incorporate a random code (captha if you will) to stop the brute force possibility's.

Or you can opt in for a session, or randomizing cookie.

 

Other then that not to bad.
