Well i do in fact know. The reason I know is because of trial and error. Why dont you try it out and let us know what you found, the easiest way to learn something is to try it

Actually... you can (unless you are talking about licensing situation that might refer a TLD and not a subdomain), I don't actually know how the installer structure is set, but if it points to "root folder" if the subdomain is properly configured, you ought to have no problems doing so!
