Steps to building a successful project #2

Motivation

Through everything you do you will start with a lot of motivation, as you're seeing a lot of difference from idea to product. This is the one of the crucial stages in building a successful project, the start. If you make a good start, when you're fully motivated, you will get a lot done, which you can use to your advantage later on, when you've reached that stage of the feeling 'repetition' and 'a never end project to achieve your idea'.

So, you need to carry on throughout the lifespan of your project, working, to make it better in every way possible, and not slacking (Refer to section #1).

You slack, you lose time, you lose time, you lose motivation. A vicious metaphoric circle.

Hype

Hype is a good thing when you're building success, you throw ideas around, even to yourself, in your head. It's a great feeling knowing you're in control and you can do anything. It's like being a painter and you have a blank canvas, and you can paint anything and society will accept it for only how great it is. This is the best feeling ever, hype. You imagine every possibility you can ever imagine that your project will endeavor to become success, you'll even fantasize about it, this will add to your motivation, so, keep hyped!

Remember take each day individually, and use your hours!

Ignore the Naysayers

You will most definitely meet a few of these along the way. If you're unsure what one of these are;

One who frequently engages in excessive complaining, negative banter and/or a genuinely poor and downbeat attitude
You have to ignore them, only look for positiveness. A Naysayer is, typically, either one of these;

  • Jealous of you
  • Trapped in the mediocre society that we live in, that nothing can be a success

Feel honored that you have a naysayer in your path, as it means you've thought 'outside the box' and someone is jealous of you ;) You can use this as extra motivation, motivation in the sense of proving them wrong!

Section #3, coming soon?

Reviews?

This is all theory, I haven't put any of this in real practice, for the simple reason of time.

You forgot a part in the "Nayslayers" part...

Maybe your product is just rubbish and they are offering you sound advice, but you are too stupid to see it for what it is?

That is not the definition of a 'naysayer'. A 'naysayer' is someone who tries to get you down, non-accidentally.

An understandable but not excusable mistake.
