"I had a game with Gangster Legends, got a new layout, advertised but no-one joined after 2 weeks so I shut it down" - Really good logic...NOT I very highly doubt it is the engine that is the problem with the fact you are not getting any users, it's your own fault. You can't just close a site after 2 weeks because no-one joined. 2 weeks is nowhere near long enough. You think Torn City got however many hundreds of thousands of users they had in 2 weeks? No chance in hell. You've gotta stick with it. Build up a good story, make your game unique, pump some money into advertising and slowly but surely people will start to join. It doesn't matter what engine you use, the final product has to be detailed and unique. Answering the original question though, New World Engine or ezRPG.
