Hendrickson
I'm reading there are these plug-in for firefox and programs that can read captcha. How exactly would one track a bot? Auto clickers that can read screens. Read captcha and enter the text. Got me worried  Is there an easy way to bust a autoclicker / bot user? Ben Nash
I would say just check your logs now and again... for example if a users gain massive amount of strengh/guard etc.. and have really good stats its obv a bot so you can ban them. Hendrickson
Check the access logs, tedious task that is. But then what would you look for that would be a dead give away? (Apart from the stats)
Dominion
"A CAPTCHA is a program that can generate and grade tests that humans can pass but current computer programs cannot." If computers can read a captcha it's worthless even having them. I'm assuming you have seen a program that can do this?

(you cant tell someone is botting by how much exp their gaining.. that would give you alot of problems) i think you could find out if someone is a bot by using some sort of logs, but wont be that easy for this goal. since captcha is anti-bot and if they do it right it could mean they are not a bot, just update&/upgrade your anti-bot systems.. (captcha's/events..)
a_bertrand
I usually check how much time players spent inside the game, and how much they gained. If the ratio is too high (which means they gained too much in a short time), then it rise an alarm and we manually check what the player did. Captcha are not that good, as they annoy players, but you can very well make your page generated via JS (or at least some essential parts) and have some odd cookie / session check to avoid auto-clicks.
