As this is in cron_day, and no session has been started (session_start()) it would make _SESSION['userid']=null. This would then cause the error; Warning: mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /home/*******/public_html/******/cron_day.php on line 31 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 1 So, I would advise you collect the userid's from some criteria before hand, and run the rest of the code in an iterative loop.
