Hey everyone, so the time has come to buy a new phone. I'm looking for a good android phone, and after some research i figured, the LG Optimus Black would be a good phone. It's got a gesture key which i like, and has a 5MP camera, and 1 GHZ processor. It also has a very bright Nova Display ;)

I would just like to know, if anybody would recommend this phone, and if you know anything about this phone which will help me decide whether to buy it or not, please share.

Kind Regards: Redex

Thanks Lithium. The Galaxy S is now old, & i believe they have stopped updating the android version on that phone, + the Galaxy Mini, is not that good according to me, as i want one that's faster than that xD.

I have a Galaxy S running the latest version of Android. They won't stop solely updating the versions on the phones for a fair few number of years.

Didn't you use something like Cyanogen to update it, like have you put a rom on it, or is it a official update?

I put a ROM on it. But you have to put the official version of the system before you can install the ROM. So basically you have the base android system then the ROM modified this base to add and change various features.

Mine are both rooted and running on Gingerbread (Galaxy mini has a few annoying freezes, mostly when my kid starts playing the damn games, Galaxy S runs just fine)

Hehe nice, Oh plus i have never rooted and put roms on any of my phones, so that's not an option for me because i don't know how to do it xD.
