Rookie, and his set up

Hey peeps, not too sure if this is the right place but it looked like the logical place.

I'm a rookie at everything,

ive built 60% of my 1st ever website including all my own artwork etc, i have been following a tut from the Develop PHP website which is good and easy for me to understand and modify to suit me website.

Anyway my set up so far

Intel® Core i5 CPU 661 @ 3.33GHz

4.00 GB RAM

32 bit OS

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470

CS5 Design Premium

I'm into web building, animation- Studio Ghibly, Studio Gonzo -

my fav all time is XiaoXiao http://www.xiaoxiao.biz/

and i guess my aim would be to build something along the lines of this- https://www.newturf.com

Anyway thats what i'm into, i'm interested to know what software/hardware people are using, or can point me in the right direction set up wise that would be a great help :)

Well both really.

I have Dw and it seems to work well, i send everything on my server HostMonster , no real problems so far.

So those params is of your desktop PC? And youre asking if they are sufficient for development environment or what?

I am not trying to be smart.. Just genuinely confused as of what are you asking :)

And yeah... as Danny said you should really update the date.. or just change to coming soon :)

Because now if someone comes to website they will just think that it is abbandoned... + I probably have a form for people to leave e-mail if they want. You could then inform them when it is done :)

I'd suggest upgrading to 64-bit to allow you to utilise all of that 4gb of ram!

Well it depends if he runs on Linux, as Linux 32 bit kernels can handle more than 4Gb of ram:

I'd imagine he is running on windows. But that is some handy advice! I'll have to check it out next time I boot into linux.
