I'm clueless on where to start with this

Well for y'all in the community who know me already, y'all already know I'm workin on my own game & a friend game. I'm in a bind at the moment because see, my friend/partner wants me to add something bloodlines like on naruto to his game. The main one we want Has a simple feature, we just want it to add a extra 300 energy to the base players energy. But I don't know how I would make their bloodlines effect????? Like I'm lost as I never did something like this before. Help would be much appreciated.

If you want advice, learn PHP and MySQL more. If you are decent in those languages, then this would be no problem to do.

I probably speak on behalf of many others here, but I have no idea what a "bloodlines effect" is. Could you go into more detail about what you are trying to accomplish?

From what I am guessing so far, you have some sort of feature that when a player reaches a certain stage, their base energy increases by 300?

I dont find w3 schools particulary good for learning PHP... Try looking for "phpacademy" in youtube, lots of good vids there ;)

I assume, and going from my movie knowledge, bloodlines is ancestry, for example Underworld, you have Lycans and Vampires. :)

So for that you'd want something like Sniko posted a class benefits sort of thing.
