morgan1122 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I used to host with T3Theory but now need a new one because a couple of my friends couldnt connect to cpannel but other than that i recomend their services :). Quote
Equinox Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 I'm still confused as to why this was happening, as not much information was supplied. Quote
morgan1122 Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Yes i was trying to state that it was nothing to do with your side i dont know what it was really but if we could get it sorted i would be very happy :). Quote
danger boy Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Just a question, if it's got nothing to do with their hosting, what would changing the host do? Quote
morgan1122 Posted January 12, 2011 Author Posted January 12, 2011 Danger Boy its because i have two users that cant acsess cpannel and anyone post good ones please Quote
Rasheed saeed Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Does the connection time run our or something? It would probably be their Firewall.... Quote
Jordan Palmer Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Instead of changing host why not work out why they cannot access cpanel and fix it as it may be the same for all hosting providers. Quote
Dave Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I'm guessing it their system is anything similar to mine they block users after 5 incorrect logins. Contact your host with the IP addresses of the users and get them unblocked. It's all in place to try and stop against brute force attacks on accounts. Quote
morgan1122 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I have tryed all of this funny how its not working :S Quote
Dave Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I have tryed all of this funny how its not working :S Contact the host, tell them the issue and make them fix it. Quote
morgan1122 Posted January 13, 2011 Author Posted January 13, 2011 I have done this they couldnt fix it aswell. Quote
Equinox Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 After looking into the issue, several times, there was no indication of a fault. However, with very little information to work on, I was simply whacking around a bush with a bat. Should you wish to discuss the issue further, you can submit a ticket or in your case find me on MSN. Please be as detailed as possible. Quote
Dave Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Most likely the CSF blocking the IP from incorrect logins.. normally is the issue... Quote
Equinox Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 Yup, I've also checked this and it's not an issue. I'm not getting many details so I can't really help much. Quote
