Sim Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Whats some different quest types? It doesn't matter how simple or hard they are. I do not need actual quests. Here is what I can currently think of. Talk different NPC Find different NPC Give Item to NPC or Find Item and Give to a NPC Defeating a NPC Defeat X NPC's Escort NPC x to Destination X Whats some different player stats? Here is what I can currently think of that's needed. HP: MP: STR: DEF: Now what about some skill's? So far I got: Hunting Fishing Mining Wood Cutting Farming Alchemy Herbalism (spell's) Wooling (clothing) Should I even add Wooling since this is a form of Alchemy? Quote
Lilith Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 You might ad vitality to your list of stats along with dexterity/agility. You have an entire range of fighting skills you have not considered. (archery, swordsmanship, gunfighting, explosives) I would think that wooling would be more of a crafting skill than an alchemy skill, as alchemy is the art of combining elements ... much like chemistry is combining chemicals. So you can add carpentry, smithing, sewing, weaving, tanning ect to that skills set too. It just depends on how complicated you want to get. Quote
a_bertrand Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 There is luckily a lot more quest types, some of which are a mix of different base quest types some are simply much more complex. Making a full list of quest types is nearly impossible ;) Same for skills and stats. It all ends up about your game and this is the base of the content writing / rules writing job. What you could try to do is pick up some pen and paper RPG (better being open content) rules and check what's inside. Quote
