To have a game site that people will take seriously, a domain name and decent hosting (read: not most free web hosts) is pretty much the minimum necessary entry point, along with a decent design and at least a few interesting game concepts/changeups on the standard MCC setup.

two free host I know about are :

byethost.com and freehostia.com - they support mccodes as i used them but since they are FREE they dont run cron jobs...if you have cash for paid hosting steer away from these free hosts....

I have heard good things about W3theory but I dont personally use them as a host.

You are looking to spend roughly 13-14$ for one month hosting and a domain name.

domainname = 9.99/year

host= cheap as 2.99/month

Good luck with your project :)

Just pay for hosting from W3Theory.

Free hosting doesnt support mccodes crons, and some have in their tos that they can shut down a free account if they find any game script on their server. Ive used x10 & 000webhost for testing scripts and my accounts were closed, but now I use a paid hosting. And everything is much better then using the free ones. i would say though dont use hosting24.com the hosting sucks and very slow and sometimes you cant login to your cpanel, but that is my experience with them. I would definite go with W3Theory.

I am using IX web hosting and I am pretty sure that they support mccodes. If you choose a web hosting provider the best thing you can do is to ask them if they support mccodes. Nevertheless I think that most web hosting provider support it but as I said ask before you choose one then you are on the safe side.
