Dayo Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I have got fed up of going on games and the only insentive to donate is to have a friends list (what i think should be the oposite) What this will include: Donator locations Donator crimes (You can set them for location's like you can shops) The original 4 or 5 mods i have made already (freebees) Improved friends list Donator Items Donator school clases and a few more i think of. This will probly be a paid mod (the free ones i have made already i wont charge for) but like last time this will only be about $10 Quote
Faz` Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I think that's a bit too major, you don't want to make it unfair on the users that don't donate, then a clear contrast between the donators and non-donators is shown. Some games I could make it to top 10 HOF without donating a single penny, others you couldn't even get close without donating $100's. That's my opinion on it anyway. However the actual mod sounds very interesting indeed. Good luck and I hope the mod turns out great :) Quote
Guest me... Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 The thing is with mccodes people donate to get the crystals so they can train and gain a higher rank. most people don't really care about crimes or anything like them. I do think The list may gain afew extra $ i just don't feel it's why most people donate to a game. The friends/black lists are definitely not. One thing that may go down well with players, without making the gap for non-donators to big, is a stock bonus in attacks cheap gangs and a % off in *some* shops for food etc , however it's hard to keep non-donators in the game if you give to much to donators. Aderik Posted April 9, 2011 Posted April 9, 2011 Stock bonus in attacks seems a little unbalancing. A lot of players rate how good they are based on how good their character's abilities are, giving them more in crucial areas simply for having a donator status almost spits in the face of nondonators. Same goes for a percent off any item. I like the idea Dayo and look forward to seeing it in action. Quote
