a_bertrand Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 - Home page request a plugin which is not even recognized by Firefox... don't even want to know what it is but it doesn't give a good first impression - Register go to an IP and have a different look - Register ask to login again... annoying - In game layout is way too large and scrolling horizontally is something you should avoid. - Beside that it seems yet another McCode game... where you mix many gender without having a clean / good / clear story line (Mafia? Alien?) - Overall not the kind of game I would play. Anyhow for those which want to try, I created a demo account: username: demo password: demo Quote
skizzy Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 i don't know why you don't got the plugin can your computer even play an avi file thats about the only thing you might need a plugin for it works fine on my firefox . ?( but i will remove it for now as i see what the issue is with it. Quote
Equinox Posted September 26, 2010 Posted September 26, 2010 Because it's ugly, wasn't appealing at all. Quote
MrAnthony Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Seen that it was a free login and presses the x button at the top of my screen. Quote
MrAnthony Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Give it another shot after all its just the login so went in the game looked around need's securing the layout is so ugly like the menu tho. Quote
skizzy Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 i know the design needs a little work. but thanks on the menu Quote
Djkanna Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Few things, The layout is far from viewable to be honest with you. The menu in no way fits with the rest of the layout not to mention you have two different styles within the one menu, be consistent. You already have people with the max (via INT) amount of money on the game, that isn't an economy I'd like to play within. It's 4am so I cannot be bothered to test anything but I can most likely say that it's insecure to the most popular "hacks" script kiddies use. I wish you luck with your game, however it needs work. doublet Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 What do you mean with "make javascript run a php if statement" Quote
Uridium Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Skizzy ive never really been harsh to anyone on here but damn lad that is pure rubbish, I even went as far as to read your story line which confused me even more... Welcome to Backslide City Founded by Skizzy Loco After Many arrests and lots of hiding of tons of money I decided to make my own city, the perfect city where gang bangers, hustlers, smugglers and other criminals can call home free from being expiated because I as the Government will not allow that so go be the best I understand its a game in the making but altering one letter from the word BACKSLIDE would have someone giggling. Its not an Original idea and if its one your hoping will become something big, there are far better games out there to play even on the Tiny Tots website.. No real sense of play, nothing to keep you hooked and the website name killed it before i had chance to even start.... Quote
SirChick Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 What do you mean with "make javascript run a php if statement"At best the answer i could give on that would be AJAX but that doesn't execute it - just calls it. Quote
Joshua Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Why not just use PHP then include the javascript i'm confused? if($requirement variable) { javascript stuff; } simple stuff. Quote
