Inventory - merge items

Well, let's say you buy 10 x item1, after a while you get 2 x item1 and so on, items are not merging and inventory is getting very very full, can anyone help me modify the script so that the same item but different quantities merges together? ?(

When adding items to a players inventory use the item_add function.

Which auto increments items.

i don't believe lite/v1 has an item_add function,i may be wrong , mccodes.com had a free mod that fixed it. you may find this attached all right to the original creator

This doesn't work for v2, I can't find the menuarea function...
