Aries Posted August 8, 2010 Author Posted August 8, 2010 ok back to topic Opinion taken if the OP wants i can help him make a stripey table one & a dotted row one and everyone is happy :) Thanks for the offer :) - i might take you up on it (i do take a little while as i am still learning and i am a little reluctant to ask for someone to just give me the code to help as i wont learn anything then :P ) Danny. Have you even read up Sprintf? You can make make it quicker. I don't know how, but it is possible. I doubt Sprintf is useless aswel. PHP/MySQL(what ever its run from), wouldn't make it without a reason. ;) @ Dave: Agreed. On topic: I've seen alot of useronline.php mate. Hope this one is different. ;) I am going to try to make a simple looking one that has all the options which you need and and also which looks good at the same time :) Quote
Zero-Affect Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 try advancing it a little, with a couple of formatting functions or something (i created two functions for my users online which now i use in all places of the site). Quote
Danny696 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Aries, while im a big support of one of crims favourite acronymns: RTFM. Asking for small bits of code will also help you learn. Thats if you read over the code, and begin to understand what each thing/line does. Quote
Zero-Affect Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 LOL i've actually only used RTFM once or twice... i prefer LOL (obsessed with it). Good luck with learning Aries. Quote
Danny696 Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Well, someone says it alot here :P Crim, i thought your word was noob :/ Quote
Zero-Affect Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 Actually it's Paul and my favourite acronym is LOL but my (own invented) favourite word is Nooblet. Quote
Djkanna Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 I noticed some mention of sprintf(), all I can say is use sprintf() wisely and it can provide some use to you. Aries, good luck with your learning. Oh and LOL! Quote
