Program that boots players

Ive had several reports from players that someone is booting them out the game.

Im curious has anyone heard of a program that does this ?

Look on you're access log's, Someone's probably running a query to update everyone to force logout.

Change your passwords to more difficult ones, and if the problem still persists check your logs.

Though your access log might not give allot on who and what is causing this, you might want to also check your mysql error log.

An attacker first sees if they can produce the script to error out, or change in display: if so, they continue and if not - they let it be.

Any unusual query errors should immediately raise a red flag.

Who's your host?

This sounds more than likely to me like its session times.

Logic before questions please; His host it "BYETHOST" or an affiliate of them.

Their session times does not have a problem, many people run MCCodes on their systems.

I would rather think that it may be a cause of a malfunctioning script, or otherwise an actual player.

If this just happens to certain people, and not all at the same time, there might be some xss on your website that is messing with the sessions/cookies.

Thank you all, I am on Byethost..so i dont believe the host is the problem.

Ive only got the report from two people, so im thinking it could be some faulting programming in one of my scripts...or the players are making false reports..

after reviewing the problem for a couple days ive ruled out that someone is actually booting them.
