oxidati0n Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Hello! As you may or may not have known me, I'm Bill or you may know me from my alias, oxidati0n. I have been a part of Make Web Games (formerly CE) since it's very early days, and I have been involved with some of the MCCodes successors, aswell as making my own game when I was around 13 years old, then I moved into other industries and made a fortune. Now, with a lot of experience and financial support whenever needed, I am looking to take up a very rewarding business opportunity with a person at MakeWebGames or outside these forums. I am currently having my own game built, which is always in delays because of my time, so I would also like to take up a MCCodes games opportunity and I will do several options, which vary from buying your site outright to doing a 50% deal in return for me to take profits. I'm only seeking this opportunity to rebuild up any new trends built up within the industry while it being lucrative for me and my potential colleague, so I really see why I shouldn't start here. Whether you're already earning $5,000+ a month or you're earning very little ($5 to $10 here and there), as long as you are earning it shows you must be doing something right and I want you to flip that into 10, 20 or even 30-fold more money while also making it fully lucrative. Now, I don't want to leave you lost. What experience and values could I give to you and your game: Valued and Happy (and more!) players as I know very large gaming companies and I believe that I can help fulfill the popularity of large games, aswell as previously stating having large experience with the industry from starting my own game when I was only 13 years old and in High School. Can increase revenue as I talk business as high as five figures, so you know that I can associate you with the best revenue tactics from the start-up and technology industry. I work with veteran developers as I run my own technology firm and my developers I usually lease out at a very high amount of money (starting price $200/hour) and they are very experienced, I will either lower the price or provide it at my expense should I feel it is a worthy investment. Lucrative & Exclusive Deals as I know large providers, so I could help you give out great products to your customers, whether it's an iPhone or holiday, I have a lot of entertainment-based contacts that can help a game incentive. Innovation as that's my core focus in business, I like to innovate and bring out new things aswell as try new things. I take innovation slowly while using powerful effects from doing it. World-Class Privately Owned Hosting as I own a server rack at LiquidWeb, costing thousands of dollars per month, so you have all the resources you need and limitless control within your business. Popularity as I am a very highly known figure in the text-based gaming industry, and I can help get you highly recognized where you are not currently and introduce you to bigger and much more professional people to take you from your current league whether amateur or professional and take you to the highest industry in the market where the big money is sitting. I need a small proposal from you, and make sure you have good writing and punctuation (I don't care if you use a tool or something) because I won't work with someone that cannot make the effort of make a good appearance in every virtual aspect, because in all respect, I won't just work with anyone. I'm friendly and communicative, so don't be shy to ask anything. I will post whenever I will no longer be accepting applications or proposals from anyone. Spamming will be ignored. Thanks! Quote
Djkanna Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Okay let me get this right you want to buy an active game right out, or pay the game owner a sum for 50% of the profits the game recieves? To be honest I think you'd lose money doing it the second way, however I wish you the best of luck finding a game (: Djkanna Quote
oxidati0n Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Okay let me get this right you want to buy an active game right out, or pay the game owner a sum for 50% of the profits the game recieves? To be honest I think you'd lose money doing it the second way, however I wish you the best of luck finding a game (: Djkanna I may have explained it wrong. They are some options, but the options I am willing to take will vary, I might not even pay anything to specific owners and just take a cut in exchange to helping them make a good fortune. I won't be losing money, however if I feel there is a low-risk investment for me and my investors I won't mind injecting small funds to acquire some or all of the assets of a game. Hope that really does clear up the clutter I make when typing too fast. Quote
Djkanna Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Ah sorry I really did get it wrong, Still I do wish you luck =) Quote
Jordan Palmer Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Very good luck Bill. If you don't believe Bill is a good developer take a look at his engine FlameSpark even though the coding is really advanced I do believe it is built on a good script, sercured & optimized code. I would personally suggest my own project however I'm doing good alone, nor is the game active yet so yeah, counts me out lol. Good luck Bill. Quote
oxidati0n Posted June 23, 2010 Author Posted June 23, 2010 Thanks for the kind words Jordan. I'm not looking for any game, I'm looking for one that needs someone anyway, otherwise they wouldn't need to propose it to me. And also, if I feel that the person is considerable enough to take their responsibility up once a game spikes up in popularity, that would be really important. Quote
Joshua Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 If I had my latest project in motion i might jump the train and throw an application in myself. However, as it stands i'm looking at at least 3-4 months before I even start beta testing then at least another 2 months to top that off with more advertising and scripting. So, I'll keep my hat on(so to speak) and wish you the best of luck in your wishful endeavors. ---Josh Quote
Guest George || Apollis Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 I am very interested, I have sent you a PM :) Quote
iSOS Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 If you have a game being built but set back because of time troubles, why not get a developer on the team with you? - If you provided abit of financial backing once the game was in a credible stage, maybe that would also be a credible proposition for developers. Spudinski Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 Bill is a pretty good guy, and would suggest this to anyone as I know you will get results with him. Somewhere along the line he went into another direction as me(like most others) and ended up having great success. Good luck with everything Bill! :) Quote
