Hello everyone,

I am currently planning out my education as I am still in my school days right not. I was hoping to enter a good animation and graphics school out there but google didnt help me much in understanding which uni is a good one and which is rubbish.

So I was hoping this wonderful community here could help me out with uni names, hopefully location and links if possible :)

Also I am currently in my school days I was wondering does a person enter one of these universities right after college or should I get another degree in computers first from maybe IIT (Indian Institue of Technology)

Do you not have Connexions? If so speak to them, They'll help. This is really for Web development topics, Not really about what to do in life lol, No offence

I arnt asking what I should do in life but do people know any good universities out there, as this is a game development community I figured someone might have knowledge on this matter as google didnt help me much and didnt know where else to turn.

I did a quick google of connexions and it shows that this is in UK and as I live in UAE I have no way of reaching them.

1); I doubt any know off any as too where you live, Unless they live close to you which is rather hard to find around here today

 

2); I wasn't sure if they had contracts in other countries too. Sorry..

 

My advice;

I would get everything you want out off school (The more degrees ect the better), Enjoy life while being at school. I'm sure the credit crunch is affecting you too, Which means keep on at school until you've done all you can, Go Uni and get even more out off life. I don't know any uni's but I'm sure if you speak to a teacher they'll get you a list :)

Uni near or far from my house doesnt matter, Indian parents dont care how much it costs to get their children the best education so i dont have a worry about that.

And nah credit crunch not affecting my house, both my parents are doctors and they keep getting raise :P

I arnt suggesting anything just mentioning the Indian attitude ;)

Doesn't matter what ethnicity or creed you are when it comes down to it were all human, besides the french...

All rich parents will put their kids through UNI but poor people get into UNI and work their way through (i'd take the working way anyday because then i know i DID IT without help). It's hard but you feel better for doing it and helps you get into your own life rather than your parents shadows.
