New "Zap Engine" Project...

Hey, I'd like to develop a "Zap Engine" game.

I'd also like a partner and/or a team.

#Graphics Designer.

#PHP programmer

Obviously any of these would be a bonus, but If you feel you'd be a good partner or work well as a team, please PM me or reply here.

I'm a PHP programmer, I've mainly worked with MCcodes, but I've delved into other projects, (Game Engine, Arcade scripts ect ect).

Good to hear that the first game developement starts. Let me know if you need anything from the engine itself as I may try to help there.

For what is planned to be placed into the engine still:

- An Ajax chat

- A messaging system like in game email

- More admin tools.

Well my own web IRC is starting to work well so for sure the mod will be just an IFRAME pointing to it. However you will still be able to use it for your own game Zero ;)

I am also developing the ZAP engine, Zed I sent you a message about teaming up. Check it out;) I think there should be like a taem desicion like IF people are willing to get maybe 2 or 3 people that want to develope it and team up and do it and so on? Sounds good>?

CrimGame: Sure there is a lot of IRC haters out there, and I must say I'm not an 100% fan neither, however I developed my own IRC AJAX which will be hosted by Ipocalypse, and this will be used inside an IFRAME of the engine.

Thank you! I really needed something like this! It really looks like something you could expand on for a game. My game is still in it's planning stage and I wanted to see what software could do for me since I'm no programmer (but I can do just fine ;)) Anyway, I hope to see what others are doing as well with the Zap Engine. Good luck and I will contribute when I can.

Well I work like that generally: if there is interest I will continue to support. So far there is mild interest, so maybe I will add a few things on top, but I don't think I will go that much further unless there is somebody picking for his/her own game.

Hi, I'll be up for a challenge on a new game engine. I could help feed you what you need graphic-wise. Mind you i may be abit rusty been a while since ive been using photoshop ^^ Also i'd like to ask at what level do you understand php?
